Prophecy Failure: Mr. Reckless NOT Harbinger of Death

One's trash is another's treasure. Varun may have failed and died after being the Prophecy hero, the end of the chaos, Rahambose... but he wishes for another to rise, after he falls. By telling his story of the Prophecy Failure, he uses the last of his breath and hope, hoping for the real hero to rise. A secret superhero. A Psychopath. A nightmare causing dragon. The last survivor of the second strongest intelligent beings. A normal college student, barely ever travelled in his life, summoned to an alien planet and given powers. A normal city, never having seen snow, covered in ice. A normal friend group, who quarrel amongst themselves, left to fight against things beyond their wildest dreams. A normal girl, who can't take care of self, forced to be the queen of Pluto. A Prophecy Failure, worth telling. Will a story be enough? To bring about a hero? Or just another Prophecy Failure? At least heroes are real. But so is he, Rahambose. And so is the fact that: in the end it is ALWAYS Rahambose.

Chapter VIII - Truth be told (2/3)

Phobetor was in a foggy place and kept going, looking around for someone. There sure was someone amidst all of the fog, but like a predator, it waited to make a move.

Phobetor was getting anxious by the moment and unknown to the lurking around him. Seeing the chance, something pounced at him and that made him stumble to the ground.

"What happened to the first rule? There is no fear, it's just up here in the head," the guy said pointing at his forehead and lent his hand to Phobetor. "Funny that I must even tell that to the guy who causes nightmares, that's some irony," he laughed lightly.

Phobetor could see his face up close now. A bulky guy with a soft voice and laughed like a small child. Phobetor had no feelings for none but this one guy and it melted his heart away from all his worries and anger.

"So, what news my friend?" he asked.

"Morpheus… I'm sorry," Phobetor said and bent his head down.

"You couldn't find them? You bought us all in one dream though. And I even scared that guy and something charged at me and woke me up which still is weird," Morpheus said.

"Right… I do not know of whatever that was. But… the guy is strong," Phobetor said.

"Strong…? You fought? What about going in for peace and being friends?" Morpheus asked.

"Not so good at it. But I did ask. They wouldn't accept to help however," Phobetor said.

"Nonsense… humans… these bastards!" Morpheus said kicking his foot to the ground. "Well, maybe I must have gone and done that."

"I'm really sorry… Morpheus," Phobetor said.

"I can't blame you my friend. I didn't even ask for your help but you came along with me. I guess we must harm them now," Morpheus sighed.

"The kid turns to an Attear," Phobetor said.

"That is impossible… he must be the H.O.D.," Morpheus said through realisation.

"A possibility… he did look like a Primevel warrior in a typical armour set than the usual," Phobetor said.

"This is bad… this will involve Rahambose," Morpheus said.

"You will meet your parents," Phobetor said putting his hand upon Morpheus' shoulder.

"I will, but I don't want to pull you into this," Morpheus said.

"No-no-no, I'll help you until my last breath. I'll even face the Attear and not run away again," Phobetor said.

"Let's be honest Phobe. You were frightened by that guy," Morpheus said.

"That is why I can't let you do this alone," Phobetor said.

"For now I'll. And for the future, you must go find help," Morpheus said.

"What help?" Phobetor asked.

"It's time to join Rahambose. I know it could be a bad idea. But he will give us protection when we work for him," Morpheus said.

"Even then… he isn't one to go blindly picking people for his team. I mean, that's what I heard of course. From… a lead. He will want something or someone strong in exchange. You know what I mean?"

"We will offer him Earth. He can get this planet with ease. But, if we do it for him, I can have my goals. And you can be here and do what you want," Morpheus said.

"So, then I must go to Rahambose now?" Phobetor asked.

"Only if you want to friend," Morpheus said.

"If it makes you any happier… I will," Phobetor said. "But, I have some things to do here, which will be helpful to you."

"Always a pleasure having you by my side Phobe," Morpheus said.

"Guys… guys… guys!" Jay said, shouting from outside the door.

"The door isn't frozen or locked, come on in," Varun said.

Jay opened the door with a little push and came in hurrying.

"It is weird that only when you were in school the doors shut frozen. You guys still sure you didn't make that up?" Varun said.

"We are continuing on the topic later, Varun," Aria said.

"Yeah, alright, but I'm still onto my theory," Varun said.

Aria just sighed to herself and knew he was being reckless by going about his 'theory'.

"There are people outside. Just like Varun described how Psycho-blades could be," Jay said.

"What…?" Varun asked.

"I guess Psycho wanted to hunt us down with his blades as you scared him away," Aria pointed out.

"They are ridiculously slow as zombies," Jay said.

"That… I did not say," Varun said.

"It could be snow," Aria said.

"Pluto is full of that," Varun said.

"That… right," Aria said and sighed to herself.

"They are zombie people and where is everyone?" Jay asked.

"Flint, Jiant and Fara looking for things in shop, whereas Adam and Maaz napping," Varun said.

"Varun get the two from room, I'll get the ones from shop," Jay said.

"It is not such a big place for us to not hear you," Adam said from the room door.

"Yeah…" Jiant said from near the shop, having a packet of chips.

"So you heard? Then let us get ready for some zombie fight," Jay said.

"We can't let them in, let's go out. Whereas Fara, Jiant, Aria and Adam stay here," Varun said.

"Why split into four?" Aria asked.

"If we need you, we'll call out loud," Varun said.

"I'll be ready for a lot of screaming then," Jiant said, eating more chips from the packet.

"They just sound like zombies. If anyone would, it'd be Varun screaming," Flint said.

"Let's see about that," Varun said opening the door.

The four of them went outside and the four inside just followed the sounds and made out what was happening. There seemed to be not much movement outside but Aria could hear movement from the kitchen again.

"I swear something is wrong with that kitchen. A real centre of horror and doom," Aria said.

"What do you mean?" Adam asked.

"Some metal clicking sounds," Jiant added.

Fara signalled everyone to be silent and they moved slowly towards the room. Footsteps were heard now in the kitchen as the four went into the room.

A Psycho-blade reached into the hall and spotted Adam, who was the last to be going inside the room, Jiant pulled him in quickly.

The Psycho-blade growled in a low tone and then hurried towards the room. Aria ducked down to the bottom of the bed as Adam and Jiant hurried to close the door. But the Psycho-blade just put his leg in between the closing door and started pushing Adam and Jiant away from the door.

Aria picked up a hammer lying below the bed and hit it on the Psycho-blade's head. He fell behind a bit but straightened up soon and rushed his bladed hand towards Aria. Aria blocked it with the hammer and over-powered him.

"I'm strong, yeah baby!" Aria said.

The Psycho-blade grumbled and once again rushed his hand towards Aria and she hit the hammer against him.

Aria was concentrated at the Psycho-blade ahead of her, as another one rushed towards her from the kitchen. Jiant grabbed the carom board lying by the window and shielded Aria with it.

The carom board however cut into two halves easily. Jiant looked at it and without thinking twice swung a piece against the Psycho-blade, making him fly away and hit the cupboard, which the TV was on.

"Watch out, don't hit me," Aria said.

"I'm strong, not dumb," Jiant said.

"Guys, why is there more sound from inside the house than outside?" Varun asked from outside.

Another Psycho-blade came out of the kitchen as Adam pushed the bed (of the hall) towards him, throwing him into the shop. The Psycho-blade got up and screamed something in some language at Adam; Fara threw a pillow at him.

"Seriously, a pillow…?" Adam asked.

"A distraction," Fara said.

Fara ran up to Varun's huge bag and taking out the metal-bottle from it, threw it at the Psycho-blade's head, he fell down. Aria picked up the bag and threw it on a Psycho-blade approaching from inside the kitchen.

"The bag would have been a better choice," Aria said.

"Only you super humans can lift it," Fara said.

"Good point," Adam said punching the first Psycho-blade in the face.

"Is that all…?" Jiant asked.

"Four against four, sounds fair," Aria said.

A Psycho-blade came running and growling from the kitchen and Aria aimed the hammer at him and threw it. The hammer just clashed with the utensils in the kitchen and missed the Psycho-blade.

Jiant pushed the Psycho-blade away and threw the nearest bag at him. Everyone reached for every other bag and threw at the Psycho-blade but the guy still got up. Adam picked up the TV and threw it at the Psycho-blade.

"Good that there was no electricity," Adam said.

"Why would you throw a TV?" Aria asked.

"I could have thrown the carom board pieces," Jiant said pointing at the pieces on the ground.

"But… I thought…" Adam tried to explain himself.

"Varun will be mad," Fara said.

"I felt it was ok for the moment," Adam said.

"Not good enough," Aria shook her head.
