I stared at his hand that laid between us. The unfiltered beam of sunlight highlighted his sharp features in a golden shimmer. He seemed to be in a deep sleep as he yanked at the sheets to cover his face. Sighing, I got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

What am I doing? We have shared a room as friends before, is it weird to do the same now that we have passed that stage? The soft knock on the door pulled me away from my thoughts.

"Mr. Black is calling for you." Daniel spoke from outside.

What does he want now? It's eight in the morning. Pulling a black jacket over my tank top, I quickly squeezed out from a small space and closed the door firmly behind me as Daniel watched without an expression on his face. Do the people in this house know the meaning of smile? Well, except Lillian. She's crazy enthusiastic over the dumbest things.
