Seraphina had hoped that maybe, just maybe, Raven would step into the kitchen and offer to cook like Arwan and Lucian had during their weekend dates. She had enjoyed those moments of care, watching them take over the kitchen while she relaxed, but it seemed today was different. Raven was nothing like his brothers.
She sighed, picking up a knife to begin chopping the vegetables. The rhythmic sound of the blade hitting the cutting board echoed through the small house, but it didn't ease her thoughts.
