it had been changed into beverage party. they all were sitting on the couch around the small table and taking the sips of beverage. they were talking and flaunting and some lad were sitting another corner of house to play games. they asked Vickie to play with them. but he denied smoothly. distinctly, he was anxious and hovering around the door.

" hi.....we have made to come here on time, haven't we?" Heloice stood at the door and she asked Vickie with uncertain tone while she was panting heavily after running the way . she took more time. cos, her mom told her in the way to take one present for her friend. she was wavered to buy a gift. she remembered. Lisa always used to say teddy bear is the best gift to give anyone.

after her Roma also comes on time. she uttered with glittering face. " happy birthday, Vickie. and she sticks out the present for him. he took it and asked her with a smiling face to walk in as hospitality. he only looks at Heloice with ambiguous expression. and turned to go into house without saying anything to her.

they all walk in. Roma was being fascinated after seeing decoration of the house. she looks on the table and said enthusiastically. "look here candle. and petal. it is so beautiful, isn't it?" she asked to her.

and then, she left Heloice there and darted to meet her another friend. she started to talk with another mate. but, Heloice she backs off and stood in the corner. she felt inconvenient here.

one girl comes ahead of Heloice. she didn't know her. certainly, she knew Everyone in her class only by their face. she knew very few mates to their name. that girl asked her with curiosity. " what did he replicate?"

Heloice asked her in irrational tone. " what are you talking about?" indeed, she didn't get it.

" didn't you give him that card early?" she asked her.

Heloice discerned what to say her. " oh, that." she smiled slightly then, she insisted." of course, I gave him and he accepted. that's why he invited you in his own home." she lied her. cos, she felt it was her fault to not give him her present till now.

Heloice didn't understand it. ' why had her face been delighted, all of sudden.' she rised her hand to rich out Heloice hand. and she started swaying with holding her hand. " I knew it, I knew it. it would work. cos you are his buddy."

even, it was incomprehensible for Heloice. but she didn't ask her. she thought. ' so, she also knew, definitely, he would deny someone's present.'

after that Heloice faced the same question over and over again to many girls. and she gave them same reply. it was nasty for her. she was laying through and through.

to evade them, she picks up one glass of beverage and walks in the balcony. she thought. " here, must be something fishy. why, everyone was trying to know. had he accepted that birthday card or not."

after a while, she talks herself. " whatever the case, I will do it. she put the beverage side of herself and opened her satchel. she lets out of chocolate box and card and keeps box side on the banister. then, she unsheathed of one card to see what was that?

but, that night wind was strong and it blows all the card. and it changed into mess. she comes to pick up it. at the same time, Vickie had also appeared there. he lifted one card to see it. his face flushed. he asked her. " you should not have to be shy. I should have known how do you feel about me."

it was incomprehensible for her. she asked him. " what on earth are you babbling. I can't get it."

" yeah." she amended. "well, I had no any intention to peek it. but, I was just curious what would it be." she stood up and uttered. " look here my whole bag is full with birthday card and chocolates. it's so heavy to bear it everywhere..."

he had already walked in. she babbled. " what's wrong to him?"

then, she started to read it. it was not birthday card. she opened every card one by one. her eyes widened by bewilderment. " seriously, they want to convey by me their love letter. it is so embarrassing."
