Blaze's Attack

When he appeared, he saw bodies that littered the floor, leading to a black-haired, brown-eyed man.

Blaze recognized Donavan, Ivanka, and Markus knocked out and bleeding on the ground with many other slayers around them in the same condition.

The man standing held Cristal up by her neck while blood covered parts of her face.

He tossed her aside and moved his attention to the blonde-haired man that had just appeared.

Before she hit the ground, Blaze teleported her behind him in a sitting position.

Did he alone cause all of this destruction, Blaze thought.

The man's outer light brown cloak was dirty, with parts burnt or ripped off.

His clothes had scratches and small tares from the battle before, with an overall aesthetic for the medieval.

Considering the scale of the attack, having him dead would be the best, Blaze thought as he approached the man.

The man extended his open hand towards Blaze as if to attack.

The following instant, the man was sent flying back, only to come to a complete and unnatural stop seconds later.

Blaze had already vanished from his view as he felt a kick to the back of his head, sending him forward to the ground.

It seemed like all the momentum from the kick was gone by the time he reached the ground.

Blaze teleported to attack again, but the man let out a shock wave in all directions causing Blaze to teleport out and then back in once the wave passed him.

BAM!

Blaze landed a solid hit before charging him again with a flurry of punches as he changed positions around him.

He rattled him to lose his footing and held him up by his neck.

"How many others are you with?"

Blaze asked as he blocked the punches the man was throwing at him.

"Don't worry," he smiled, "more than enough to take you out."

Blaze was sent flying up into the sky, spinning out of the way of what invisible things he sensed in the space flying towards him.

Up high, Blaze saw fighting in 3 other areas with Slayers, each only fighting one person.

A dim red cube-like structure by the edge of a forest also caught his eye.

"Have fun teleporting while all the way up there." The man muttered to himself, "Ultimate series, lightspeed arrow."

Blaze vanished from his sight.

"Let's change things a bit."

He heard Blaze's voice behind him before he fell into the water, letting the arrow fly off into the sky.

BOOM!

Water erupted from all directions as it was pushed out from the center.

Blaze was sent flying up again before quickly diving back down.

He used the momentum from falling to throw flying punches around the man as he teleported.

Some of them hit, while some felt like they had lost all their momentum once they touched the man.

BOOM!

There was another shockwave, launching Blaze into the sea wall surrounding them before he teleported behind the man, crashing into him.

They came to a stop, and the punches continued, both of their fists flying as they fell deeper into the ocean.

"Ultimate series," Blaze heard the man mutter before punching him, seeing that his fist barely did anything.

"Destruction cannon."

Before he felt the energy hit him, Blaze teleported right in front of the attack only to get hit upwards with another shock wave.

He saw the ocean split like a massive skating ramp before the water began crashing back into itself.

So now I see how he was able to take out all those Slayers on Honolulu, Blaze thought before he saw the man mutter something.

"Killing move," Blaze smiled.

"Ultimate series aerial scatter-" the man was cut off.

"Bendable Space," Blaze finished with his arm extending through the man's chest.

"How... how the hell," the man barely mutters out.

The walls of water surrounding them started crashing in on themselves, quickly forming a great darkness by how far down they were in the ocean.

Blaze was swept away before teleporting himself back onto the beach, soaking wet.

He was greeted by a crowd on the beach, with many scared and cowering behind each other.

It took the crowd a few moments to realize who he was as some of them recognized him and began to change his name.

"Don't worry," Blaze held his head high, "you're all safe now."

Many of them turned their attention to his right arm. He looked down and sighed when he noticed it was covered in blood.

The blue sky filled my eyes as I found myself in an unkempt garden with a light-brown-haired woman, launching this weird dark metal to a body pinned to a stone wall by said metal.

I heard the metal pierce the body before I noticed the body had long pink hair.

"What the hell are you doing!!!"

I rushed, turning the woman around before coming to a stop once I saw her face.

She was beautiful. The small block-like earrings she had on complemented brown eyes with her peachy skin looking smoother than any cream could make it with zero imperfections. Her silky-like brown hair seemed to effortlessly move in the slow wind, and her smell of sweet dandelions completely fixated me on her looks.

"What?" She smiled and paused while tilting her head a little to the side.

"Do you want my number?" She cheerfully continued.

"I-I don't have a cellphone." I felt dumbfounded for a second before gritting my teeth as my frustration grew.

"What the hell are you doing torturing Rose?!!!" I pulled her by her shirt with my fist already coming down before something in my head clicked.

I knew this woman was strong, just her confidence alone by how she never broke eye contact or how she didn't even react when I raised my fist.

That, plus the sight behind us, made things clear.

"You're the aura that monster was talking about," I let go of her shirt.

"Monster," she rolled her eyes as she said that in a sarcastic tone. "You're seriously sheltered if you even think that's anywhere close to a monster."

"What are you doing in my head? I should have pummeled you for doing that to Rose."

"Oh," she chuckled, "you know we're in your head, that's a surprise, but it does explain why you were so quick to act."

"That doesn't answer my question."

She paused and looked at Rose. I thought she would attack me or something by the way she stood.

"I'd like to know why I'm here too," She answered after an awkward pause, turning back towards Rose's body. "After all, I've never met you outside your mind other than to bless you from your loss. Maybe you met someone I did and transferred on from there."

"..."

She turned back to face me.

"And don't worry about Rose, we had a long chat, and they can't really feel this. I just wanted you to see."

"So you thought getting my reaction would be funny?"

"I wanted your full attention. After all, you currently have a problem out there."

Athena's group along with 12 other Slayers had surrounded one of the attackers but couldn't get close.

Her hoodie was off, showing her vibrant white hair and purple eyes in clear view.

She was really only focused on one of them with a sword as she didn't try to kill but tried to just tire them out for fun.

She suddenly felt herself get pushed from behind before letting out a wave of air around her, forcing the Slayers to duck below.

She looked behind her, seeing no one other than the slayers that had ducked down.

She looked frantically around her, trying to see who it was, but she saw nothing.

The other Slayers laid on the ground and saw that when the wind stopped, he suddenly appeared again, his hands wrapping around her chin and forehead.

A snapping noise filled the settled air, and the man was gone.

The woman with the white hair and purple eyes dropped to the ground, head now out of place.

"What the hell," Athena said, recognizing the blonde hair as Blaze's.

"Yeah," Hestia responded, "He went easy on you back at the pool."

The man with the sword poked at the body, noting that she had died before hitting the ground.

"So that was the prodigy Blaze," he felt sick looking at the body of the woman who was toying with them moments ago. "That sure is a way to do things."

"Hey, let's go around moving anyone that was hurt," Athena mentioned to everyone as she carried a survivor from the earthquake on her back. "We can let Blaze handle the rest of the fighting."

Next, Blaze found himself by some wooden houses as he heard the sounds of 20 or so people shouting in both confusion and fear nearby.

He peaked around one of the homes, seeing that one of the attackers suspended 20 different people and slayers up in the air while fending off other Slayers attacking it from the front.

Something was weird about this one. While they were trapped up in the air, he couldn't tell what they were being trapped with.

It was like they were floating there, and even though they could slowly move their arms and legs, they were completely stuck in place.

She wasn't picking up any more of them, so was 20 her limit?

Blaze thought before seeing an opening the other slayers created and attacked.

He teleported, trying to do the same thing he did with the previous attacker, but when he began moving, he felt the thickness of the air.

The air around him felt like syrup or honey as he moved his arms and hands.

He widened his eyes when he saw how fluently the figure turned around, like the thickness in the air around it didn't apply to it.

"That's not gonna work, teleporter." He heard her say as he saw her grinning under her hood.
