S2 Chapter 21

And it was looking like a new assignment.

Emi became angry and said, "Who made it a challenge?!"

And Ichiro and Nobela were indicating each other with their fingers, blaming each other because they knew, Emi is going to take class of the one who made it a challenge.

Emi with anger said, "Just tell otherwise, you both will be punished."

Ichiro said, "Nobela! Why don't you take your responsibility that you were the one who made it a challenge?!"

Nobela said, "My lord, did you forget that you were the one who did it? Why don't you accept it? Emi will just give 100 or more punches as a punishment."

And for the first time, Survivors were seeing Ichiro and Nobela fighting and blaming each other and Yuzui and Yuki were shocked that they both even fight.

Suddenly a System projector appeared behind Ichiro and Nobela and everyone was able to see it.

[ System: As I was seeing the fight, I can surely say that both, Ichiro and Nobela, are responsible for making such a challenge. ]

Emi became more angry that Ichiro and Nobela were blaming each other.

Ichiro and Nobela were shocked that System betrayed them and said together,

"You coward! You were the only one who was counting the number of kills of demons!"

All the Survivors were a little bit shocked that System has developed this much that it can even talk like it.

Emi controlled her anger and said, "Pet beasts, did the update was installed yesterday only?"

The host beast said, "Yes, it was done. I guess due to it, on wishes of admins. The challenge might be created."

Emi said, "Wait, when big brother and Nobela became admins?"

The purple pet beast replied, "On your order only, we did it. You only said to make top 3 Rankers admin so that they can manage, after all they are the strongest."

Emi remembered that she actually said something like it and said, "Oh, I remember."

Emi continued her speech, "Now listen! Big brother and Nobela are forgiven for their mistakes that they wished to make the hunt of demons, a challenge. And I guess it is also good that you all will at least try to rank up in this challenge by killing more and more demons."

A smile came in the faces of Ichiro and Nobela. But Emi continued,

"But... You both can be punished for blaming each other, lying and not taking responsibility of things."

And a sad face again came on Ichiro and Nobela's face.

Emi said, "Anyways, as now it has became a challenge. You all can compete with each other on the number of demons you hunted down."

Suddenly a new update came in the System challenge board,

[ Currently 3rd: Yuzui

Number of demons killed: 57 ]

Everyone except Ichiro were shocked that Yuzui has also killed some. Emi said,

"Did you also killed demons, Yuzui?"

Yuzui didn't respond because she was becoming shy that she only killed 57 demons which is very less as compared to of Nobela and Ichiro. But Ichiro suddenly said,

"She did. When I was gone to check where where the demons had occupied space in the city and whether the citizens are safe or not. She was taking care of demons which were spawned in the abandoned factory. And when I checked it, I went back and send Yuzui to inform everyone."

Emi said, "You are brave that you were able to fight with demons and as soon as you could informed us, thank you for your help."

Yuzui became a little bit shy and said, "No, don't thank me, I was just doing it according to Ichiro's suggestion and dependency on me. I can't even kill the demons unless Ichiro gave his own sword for fighting and 50 demons were killed when his aura entered slightly entered in me and I, from nowhere, used a spell which Ichiro has created."

Emi was shocked and said, "You... You survived from holding his sword and getting his aura? Do you... Even know that holding the sword of ours is next to impossible for common people because... Only those who knows the right way of holding these swords can only hold it, others will feel it too much heavy, who don't know the right way to hold it. And about big brother's aura... In this world whoever has contacted a little bit of it, after an action, that person has died in just a few seconds! And the only persons who have contacted with it and have not affected a lot are just, I and Nobela and you are... The third."

And everyone was shocked except Ichiro and his sword. And Yuzui was also shocked from herself. Ichiro said,

"Ok, ok. The challenge has already started and I have a plan which everyone should do."

And everyone caught the attention of Ichiro.

Ichiro explained, "My plan is that we should divide us into single and divide into like a circle. This is my plan, if you have any doubts or problems in it, you can go ahead?"

Emi said, "You seriously can't detail things, big brother. If we did it, we will definitely lose our citizens because this the main city of this world and it is the most huge city. For your plan we will need more than 10,000 Survivors but we have 50 only. It is better we divide in groups with 3 to 4 Survivors and I, pet beasts and our servants will keep a look on invasion and whenever we found a trace of it, we will send a group to the location of the trace as soon as we can."

Nobela said, "I agree with your plan, Emi. It will be much more better. And I also want to join one thing, that this time we will not divide according to will. This time, top 12 rankers will not make a group with each other. As they are the strongest, they will be with lower rankers than of them so that if the lower three weeks so at least the one higher rank could manage it."
