Hearing the happy chatter of students coming from my right, I woke up from my daydream and slowly turned my head towards them. I could see a lot of the commoners jumping in joy while freely talking to each other 'I guess they're all familiar now with each other.' I could also see the privileged ones as well though not as chattery as the commoners they still spoke to each other, but it was clearly obvious that neither side wanted to speak to each other show by the clear division in their walking 'something must have happened during the break' I thought as I shook my head in contemplation. I knew why they acted as such; it was simply displeasure for the other side, the commers hate how the privileged think and act while the privileged just straight up dislike the commoners.
They were all walking towards the main hall that honestly was just a stadium for assemblies, it was huge. Looking to the right and left of the stadium I could see other students walking towards it, they looked older and a lot stronger than us and most adults 'Must be the 2nd and 3rd years' I thought as I enhanced my vision to get a clear look at the strongest individuals in both classes. Feeling one's strength doesn't need you to be adept in it, you just need to study them carefully, someone who is strong will have a more defined mana flow surrounding them, it's like flame surrounding their bodies. Well, it could be a flame, gas or whatever depending on how you what to see it.
The stronger you are the more refined, fluid, and dense it looks but when one is above you, like way, way above you then you see nothing, it's too refined for you to understand. Take a flame for example the hotter and brighter it is, the more difficult it is to stare at it, like the sun, same here although when you see that 'nothing' you shall immediately feel sense of fear, danger and depending on the difference in power, death, the reason is simple, you're not meant to look at something above you in any way since you not even close to its level.
Enhancing my vision, I could see further and closer at the students to the point it felt like I'm looking at them, need I remind you that from my position, they all look like black figures moving, starting with the second years I noticed a particular girl at the back of the group, she had long grey hair that reached her waist with a few strands that covered her eyes, with stoic eyes, she looked like she really couldn't give a dam about the world with a bored expression plastered on her face. She wore a grey hoodie with grey sweatpants and grey bunny push-ins. She honesty looked like she didn't want to be here, while her peers put on more expensive and public oriented clothing, here she was chilling in sweatpants 'looks really do deceive' I thought with a sad smile, among them all she had the most refined aura. I bet her peers know she's the strongest among them all, that's why they don't bother with what she does' usually the strongest person is always dignified but it seems like she doesn't follow that concept.
While I was looking at her, she stopped walking and looked back at me with an annoyed look on her face, she glared at me then raised her index finger then pointed at me. A water arrow was then formed at shot towards me, it disappeared from its position and then appeared just a few meters away from my face and then struck a barrier I had placed and splashed around it. Though it was fast I was still able to see it and I knew its trajectory, looking back at her, I smiled and stuck my tongue out at her.
I think what surprised her was the fact that it was blocked without anything visibly changing because when I did that she gasped as if she had done something wrong then bowed her head and rose her hands above it and held them together like she was apologizing. 'Some does this to her, and that person seems to have annoyed her a lot for her to attack on sight, I guess she realized I'm not that person. Though how the hell can she see this far?' using the simplified teleportation I talked through it to her "Its fine, it is weird for me to look at you from this far anyway." Although I could have isolated it and made only her able to hear, the distance is too great.
Surprised at the sound of my voice she looked around for the cause of the sound, realizing that she must have never met a space user able to try doing this I simply teleported over there myself. Appearing behind her I said, "That was me again, I don't need to be close to you to talk to you.", she immediately turned around and tried to kick me, taking a step back I shouted at her to stop 'she must really hate surprises.' I was really amazed by the violence she shows towards surprises.
Realizing it the guy from the roof she apologized once more "Oh!, I'm sorry, I really hate surprises and stalker, I thought you were one, so I attacked." Her voice honestly surprised me when she spoke, it was very beautiful, I would have mistaken her for a sound user. "Nah, its fine. I'm sorry for just appearing." She looked at me for a second and asked "How did you do all that? what element do you use? Is it space or time?" 'so, she does know of space. I know see why she would confuse it with space.' Although different time users can do the exact same they can deal with things without anyone noticing.
"No, I'm a space user" I said a bit worried now that I paid attention to her tone. When she apologized, although she masked it she really didn't care, when she asked for my element it would naturally be obvious it was space since time users can't see this far, and her tone, she made it inquisitive I'm sure she knew and scared me. She was about to say something when I waved to her and teleported to the 1st years, more specifically near Emily who was walking alone. I saw her during the test and since she has never beat me in a spar she paid real attention to my every action.
"How many guys have tried asking you out?" I said with an amused tone while I held back my laughter. As if she was used to me randomly teleporting to her she said in annoyance "Don't ask me that rubbish." 'I hope we won't have much interactions from now on.'
