A Grand Night (3)
On the top floor of the Synthetica hotel, the hotel that the competitors are currently staying at and one of the most renowned hotels in the world, the ceremonial dinner was already well underway. It's official starting time was at 7pm, but, naturally, people arrived earlier than the stipulated time to start the conversations and socialising.
The ballroom a the top floor was the chosen venue for this important night. Food was already served in large metal trays, kept warm under a burning fire. There were no designated tables or chairs, everyone was usually stood up or walking around, socialising freely. It was this way by design, and it was rather successful. The sound of conversations filled every inch of the room.
