Professional's Young Master System

Leon always had one pursuit, to be professional in everything he does. He believes that by living such a life he will not only be rewarded, but also live in a way that he could be proud of. However, no one else had thought this way. Those above him feared he was gunning for their position while those around him were annoyed by his overachieving methodology. However, he had finally been recognized for his professionalism. Unfortunately, it was the very Heavens itself. Taken from his own world, he was paired up with the Young Master System and placed in the body of the Seventh Young Master of the Rain Clan. His new job was to play the role of the villainous Young Master and to go against the Heavens Chosen of this world. What do you mean he only gets rewarded when he gets face-slapped by them? Whatever, it's just a job. Let them do whatever they want, he gets paid all the same.

Wrapping Up

With all eyes on him, Leon knew it was time to wrap things up. While things may not have ended how he planned, the conclusion was still in his favor. He couldn't lie that he was tempted to royally screw Blaine over by reporting this matter to his Rain Clan, but there was no true enmity between him and Leon. It would be best to let this conflict die with the original.

"I agree that Blaine is far too drunk to take responsibility for his words, it would be best for all of us if these events just end as a spat between individuals rather than involving the Clans."

The guards looked back and forth at both Leon and the old servant before visibly relaxing as neither of them showed any intent to push things further. While Leon couldn't see any changes in his servant, he did feel the tension in the air start to disperse. Could it have been that the situation was moments away from turning into a bloodbath? While Leon hadn't noticed it earlier due to the adrenaline pumping through his veins, it seemed that things had truly been on the edge where it wouldn't have been strange if someone died.

Leon started to wonder if he had misjudged the personality of the old man and he wasn't as stoic of a character as he initially suspected, instead he might have actually been someone with a more ruthless side. After he studied the old gentleman for a moment and turned his attention back to the two guards, who were currently trying to corral Blaine into leaving. His drunkenness made it so that he still didn't truly understand how unfavorable the situation had been for him mere moments ago. More than likely even if the situation had been resolved peacefully, Blaine wouldn't escape some type of punishment from the Bell Clan. Still it was best to make sure.

"However," the guards were instantly on full alert, "while I believe the situation between Blaine and I can be considered to be concluded, there is still the matter of the grievances taken on by my friends here."

Caleb was quick on the uptake as he made himself out to be pitiful while nudging the others to play along. Huh, he really was a competent person that Leon would have to make sure he kept by his side. He was confident that Caleb would have an important role to play when the Heavens' Chosen finally arrived. Hmm, now that he thinks about it, that Drew fellow was also competent in his own way seeing how he was able to spy upon Blaine and made sure to dutifully report the matter.

The two Guards also were able to understand the situation and knew that while they may have been able to resolve the matter peacefully, there was still a price that had to be paid. However, they were able to quickly accept what Leon was hinting at as it was a small price to pay compared to what would happen otherwise. Rather than being upset about the thinly veiled blackmail attempt, they were more focused upon Leon himself. This troublemaker was different from what the rumors had made him out to be. While the matter had been mostly resolved in the end by that monster, his interference was probably unnecessary.

"Do not worry, the Bell Clan will cover all damages that the Ninth Young Master has caused."

After saying their piece they quickly rushed Blaine towards the stairs, past the onlookers who were gossiping amongst themselves. Seeing that the matter was wrapped up they started to follow behind and planned to brag how they had seen the situation play out first hand. Leon knew that with word getting around even if Blaine wanted to not let the matter to end, he would be too embarrassed to show his face for a while. Even then, Blaine would be all alone in the matter as it was clear to everyone who the victor in this conflict would be.

Not long after the fifth floor of the Phoenix Cry Pavilion emptied out except for a few stragglers who wanted to butter up to Leon, but even they were soon scared off by his group. Leon took over the seat that Blaine had been sitting at and watched as after a moment of hesitation the rest also took the seats around him.

"We'll wait here for the rest to gather, hey someone go grab a waiter."

One of the underlings, who had been called out as Neil, went down and got a waiter. After a few minutes everyone had placed their orders and started to discuss the events that had just taken place, while not forgetting to either praise Leon or to throw out insults targeting Blaine and his group while they ate.

"Boss, I can't believe it, that was so badass. Blaine was dancing in the palm of your hand the entire time."

"The Boss is a genius, I bet even those scholars wouldn't be able to make things play out the way the Boss did."

"I bet the boss was busy doing important stuff in the Rain Clan, that's why he was gone so long. There's no way Blaine can compare to the boss, let alone being given any duties by the Bell clan, I bet they're just happy when he stays away."

"Even the boss' servant is so awesome, did you see how scared shitless those two were?"

"Yeah boss, what's up with that servant of yours? What's his cultivation at?"

Leon was overwhelmed by all the chatter and questions being thrown his way, even the ass-kissing was starting to become too much. He also didn't let their words get to his head as he knew that he wasn't as smart as they were making him out to be, rather it was how dumb the original was that made him look like a genius to them now in comparison. The only saving grace was that Leon couldn't help but savor the taste of the different dishes that had been ordered. The quality of the food was comparable to that which had been served to him in the Rain Clan, that spoke volumes seeing how they could compare to the cooks of one of the Major Clans.

He even wondered if some of the cooks in the Clan had been poached from the Phoenix Cry Pavilion after some of the Clan members had dined here. He absolutely understood how someone like Drew would end up as a foody if he kept eating food of such high quality all the time. Maybe he should get some recommendations from Drew about some of the finer dining establishments in the City. Leon also didn't forget that he still had to gather information on some of the more popular restaurants where the Heaven's Chosen might end up eating at during their stay in the city.

Thankfully he heard footsteps coming up from the stairs leading to the lower floors of the Pavilion. Those that had gone off to accomplish the tasks given to them by Leon had returned. When they finally reached the fifth floor Leon was able to see looks of disbelief on their faces. More than likely on their way here they had heard the gossip about the earlier events, but it was too much for them to take in.

Was the Boss of theirs really that amazing? When they had been given the task of gathering the hired help they had been a little scared that the events would escalate into a full on brawl. They really had a hard time gathering the thugs when they learned what was going on, but it seemed the momentum the Boss had built up by spreading the rumors of how he was putting Blaine in his place had made them rethink their options.

Surely that confidence had to come from somewhere, right? If they were to ignore that Seventh Young Master after Blaine had been dealt with, who knew what would happen to them. Getting on the bad side of someone from a Major Clan, especially a Young Master, without the backing of someone with equal standing was just suicide. Even if they lose their life, they definitely wouldn't be able to stay in Phoenix Cry City anymore.

Unfortunately for the new arrivals, Leon didn't give them time to order their own food as his curiosity drove him to go check out the "hired help" that had been gathered. Just based on how they had been described earlier, Leon didn't have that high of an opinion about them. If he didn't have to act how a "Young Master" should, then he would have already been thinking on how he could cut ties with those thugs. Leon thought of himself as a morally upright person and wasn't really fond of the thought of having to associate with criminals.

As Leon made his way down the stairs he saw how the different floors were filled up as it was now dinner time compared to when he first arrived. More than likely people would have to put a reservation ahead of time if they desired to dine here during the busier hours. What he could overhear coming from the customers closest to the stairs were discussions about the events that had played out between him and Blaine earlier.

Leon had the suspicion that it would be the talk of the city for the foreseeable future. Actually that wasn't that bad if he was the focus of the city when the Heavens' Chosen arrived. It would be even better if the Chosen had an unfavorable image of Leon making them more prone to enter into conflict with him of their own accord.
