Above all else, I like the world the author has created. However, the plot itself basically repeats itself over and over again. At any given moment, our protagonist will find herself in a situation in which another woman will be jealous of her for one reason or another and plot to have her framed for something and/or murdered. The story rarely deviates from this plot loop. At most you'll have another overarching plot coupled with the jealous rival plot. It's only far later into the story when the plot finally starts to deviate into something of a Romeo and Juliet storyline...with jealous rivals and a few existential threats thrown into the mix. Huang Yu Li is fairly "OP" in her own right and can work herself roughly 80-90% out of whatever predicament she finds herself in, however, 9 out of 10 she needs someone, usually Li Mo Ying to swoop in and save or help her at the last moment. She very rarely ever gets a moment to shine on her own at the most critical moments and I find this to be extremely frustrating. Li Mo Ying is your typical pretty boy love interest without any other marketable skills outside of being super strong with a propensity to sexually harass the protagonist. He has a single-minded devotion to the protagonist but otherwise isn't very bright. In fact, his stupidity needlessly antagonizes problems that otherwise wouldn't materialize.

ML acts like trash about 75% of the time. Plot is prolonged almost endlessly by characters not communicating and being selectively brain damaged. Still, it is decently fun to read casualy.

The storyline is strong and highly interesting. Perhaps a bit of a typical transmigrator novel, but written very well and has an amazing translator team!

Well I started using webnovel waiting for misty clouds novels.........I hope remaining 4 novels are hosted soon as well. Typical female lead reincarnation/transmigration/ cultivation/romcom novel albeit few twists . Good read ,fun story.

Actually, this was the first work I read from Misty Cloud TL (also my favorite) so I'm really glad its translation is on the road again *-* Thank you for continuing it and I totally recommended!

the ml is unbearable. wayyyy to controlling even for the typical ml. and the novel is better without him. the female lead isnt amazing but I do like her. and then scenarios are stretched out as long as possible.

Another book ruined by a worthless male lead. There is no need for the ML to be there, even worse, he takes away from the story. He’s pretty much just using his cultivation to molest the MC, who is supposed to be from a higher realm and leagues above him. Every time they meet the only thing that happens is he dominates her and pins her down, while thinking about how she is his and he will make sure she can never leave. The story is actually pretty decent, as long as you skip all the chapters where the ML is mentioned.

always wanted to find a weapon crafting webnovel with good translations but all I found were more things to hate specially about female lead novels just dumb overused tropes cringy bullshit and a Male lead you want to beat the crap out of.

Reads pretty similar to most of the reincarnation stories with OP FLs, just weapon smithing instead of pill making. Doesn't really focus on weapon smithing aspect as much as you'd think it was either. Wanted to read far enough to see how the FL and ML get together but really not a fan on how they interact as the story goes on...

I cannot get over how shameless she is! This girl ah 😂😂😂 I think no one could rival her for being so black-bellied! Her shamelessness knows no bounds! But so far it's a fun read. I'm still new to this they haven't revealed ML's identity yet.
