Pro Assistant System

Akzel Falter, a Noble, did too well in his graduation exams leading his father to admit him to TRAY, the most popular institution in White Divinity. "Don't mind me. I'm just an above-average twenty-two years old dude getting his life by in TRAY." Unfortunately for him, fate wasn't exactly as kind to him as he thought it would be as he gets involved in a massive political scheme.

"Y-you!" With a slightly reddened face, Sophie glared at Akzel's face which was indifferent. "Are you threatening me!? Because if you are, the consequences won't be good! I'm telling you!"

Faking a scared expression, Akzel said, "I dare not. I dare not. This humble self is only asking for a deal. I wonder if my little sister would be interested?"

With some embarrassment hidden, Sophie grabbed him by his collar. "Deal my ass! If you dare spread a word around, remember that you'll no longer be able to speak a word ever again!"

Akzel appeared unfazed by her words. "Give me the date, time and location."

"Day after tomorrow, 4:30 pm at Street 4B. Be a minute late and I'll disappear without a trace."

"Mhm."

None of them spoke. Sophie, obviously, couldn't go back to her room and start playing nonchalantly. Akzel, on the other hand, was in deep thoughts for unknown reasons. Noticing the awkward atmosphere, he asked a random question. "Which route do you prefer the most?"

"Obviously, the prin- none of your business!"

Bidding farewell to his sisters, Akzel and Drowey went back to their dorms.

"What now?" Drowey asked with a tired expression.

Akzel said with a thoughtful expression. "I'll rest for a while then prepare dinner, I guess. You?"

"I'll make some preparations for the upcoming mock battle." Drowey sighed, then continued. "I was quite pathetic when I lost. So this time, even if I lose, I have to do so with a bit of dignity. Anyways, the more I talk about this the more depressed I feel. Change the topic."

"Hmm, if you say so. Ah! How about this - Are you going out with someone?"

"You need to skip some levels, mate. I'm already married. Grow up, dude. We aren't in high school! It is rather strange for a twenty-three year old guy to not be married." Drowey laughed and teased.

Drowey didn't lie. Most of the young graduates who don't have any plans for higher studies get married before their graduation. Those graduates usually have family business and take over the business right after their graduation. For a family business to prosper in such a competitive environment, marriage alliance is encouraged. Obviously, there have been many TV dramas-like cases where heated youngsters pursue 'true love' and marry some random village boy/girl but these cases form the minority.

Akzel was shocked by his friend's revelation. He grinned and teased. "Ho… What about kids?"

Drowey put on an embarrassed smile and laughed awkwardly. "This… she is pregnant."

25th day of Zargis Calendar. TRAY. S-1 Dormitory. 10:30 pm.

"Die." A calm and pleasant but domineering voice resounded in the Grand Hall of the dorm. The owner of the voice was a white-clothed beauty. Her looks, needless to say, was otherworldly. If Akzel was here, he would have instantly recognised the beauty. After all, her looks were the same as his University friend, Preslica.

Behind her were several masked bodyguards whose terrifying aura left everybody in the Hall to feel stifled. In front of her was a skinny subordinate of her whose face was devoid of any colour.

*Thud*

With a thud, the skinny man fell on the ground. Silence reigned over the entire hall. Preslica's gaze swept through the people in the hall.

"Do you know why he died ~" Preslica's original stoic voice turned melodious. Hearing her, each and every one of the people present in the hall started sweating profusely. Still, no one dared to answer.

"Eh~ Are the lot of you that stupid~ It's very very alright ~ The awesome me can tell that the lot of you are very restless right now. Hehehe. Don't worry about it about it though. However, ehehe, I sincerely hope that lots of you can withstand my boredom-ness, ehehe ~" With a cute smile, she giggled.

Everyone: "..."

Seeing this silence, a blonde-haired man timidly stood up. "M-miss. Senior Lovo died because he failed to eliminate Miss' target whose strength is way below Senior."

Other people in the hall: 'This kindness will always be remembered in our hearts, brother! Even if you die, we, fellow brothers and sisters, will bury you in the most expensive grave in the White Divinity!'

Preslica charmingly giggled and asked coquettishly. "He~ what is your name, big brother?"

Her giggle made the blond-haired guy feel a chill down his spine. "Gr-Grafin Wyuin."

"Haha~ so it's big brother Grafin! Can I again trouble you with a question?"

"Sure, ple-please."

Preslica again giggled. "Ehehe~ Do I look like an arrogant bloodthirsty evil woman whose fate is to get subdued by her mortal enemy she has to kill by any hook-or-by-crook?"

People in the hall : "..."

Poor Grafin : "..."

Even the guards looked speechless this time.

Not minding the silence a bit, she continued. "Ehehe~ if possible, I want to come in terms with the person who is supposed to become my mortal enemy. Unfortunately, this poor lady realized it too late and sent a random cannon fodder to kill the person." Preslica faked a helpless sigh and continued. "At this point, if I send another subordinate of mine, they'll just be a mere stepping stone. If possible, I myself want to kill this man but I can't anymore due to the Awakening Ceremony. Ah~ this poor lady's luck is too poor~"

Speaking up till point, her eyes went. "Forgive this poor lady for being so talkative. I just want to let everyone of my fellow brothers and sisters understand my pain. Sob~ Sob~ ah! Sorry for showing something unsightly. Sob~"

Perhaps seeing her sobs, a bodyguard sympathized with her. "Lady Preslica, you don't need to worry about anything. I'll immediately send experts to take care of the target!"

Preslica's voice abruptly turned cold. "Are you taking pity on me? Do you think that I'm acting like a spoiled brat who is using innocent tears to her advantage?"

The bodyguard was absolutely baffled. What did he say again? Who the hell said anything about being a spoiled brat!? This miss' train of thought is impossible to follow. But before he could say anything, Preslica reverted back to her playful look and continued.

"Eh~ that's a no-go. With the status as a unique species, he surely has old foxes protecting him in secret."

At this point, most of the people present in the hall asked themselves regardless of the serious topic. 'Is this what you call a 'gap moe'?'

Seeing no one respond to her, she puffed her cheeks. "Hmph! So boring!! Get lost, mute people!"

Her response made everyone ecstatic but no one dared to cause any ruckus. Like kindergarten students, they formed a proper queue and walked away.

The only people left in the hall were Preslica and her bodyguards. She quickly ordered the guards to get lost as well and looked to be in deep thoughts.

"Ugh… so troublesome. After this super troublesome Awakening Ceremony, the super duper ultra troublesome game will begin which will take years to complete! Although I'm certain that even after a few years, he still won't be able to defeat me, I should take precautionary measures."

"There are a list of candidates I've had in mind who could do my dirty work and they are all reliable but I can't decide whom- wait, why don't I tell them all to 'compete' for this dirty work? Hehe~ intelligent me!"

Preslica grinned as she ticked 'right' a couple of names in a paper.

One of the names being - Akzel Falter!
