Princess Treatment Season 2 Episode 17 "Escape from the Castle"

Seraphina's mind raced as she paced her cell. Though Rafael saw her as a prize, her spirit remained unbroken. When night fell and the guards drank deep, she noticed a loose brick that could be shifted.

Working silently, her slim fingers fretted the stone free. Through the gap shone dim lamplight from the corridor beyond. Seraphina took a steadying breath, then squeezed through.

Swift and quiet as a doe, she stole through the sleeping fortress. But as she entered the stables, hoofbeats sounded without - Dominic, returned from patrol!

Lucius hailed him falsely, "The princess plots escape! Seize her!" At knife-point Lucius revealed his true colors, framing Dominic as traitor to cover his own foul acts.

Yet in the confusion, Seraphina swung astride a charger and galloped free under cover of dark. Her heart swelled - she would warn King Maximus and see justice served! This night, a spark of hope had been kindled in the kingdom's hour of shadow.

Seraphina rode through the night, barely pausing for her steed. As dawn broke, the castle came into view - but so did black banners on the walls.

She found King Maximus in chains, Rafael declaring himself ruler. But Seraphina told all that happened, and of Dominic imprisoned falsely. "It is treason!" cried Maximus.

Cedric and his allies leapt into action. Cedric and Maximilian would confront Rafael while Sebastian led others to free Dominic. But they arrived to find Dominic's cell empty - Lucius had moved him, suspecting Seraphina would expose his deceit.

Now their mission changed - they must find Dominic before Lucius could silence him forever. Following clues left behind, Sebastian's group tracked their quarry to a remote hunting lodge. As afternoon waned, they launched their rescue. But would they arrive in time? All hoped Seraphina's bravery had not been in vain...

Sebastian's company tracked Dominic's captors to the hunting lodge as dusk fell. They spied Lucius inside, dagger drawn as he loomed over Dominic.

"Now you die, traitor," snarled Lucius. But Sebastian burst through the door. "The true traitor is you!" he declared.

A fierce battle erupted within the lodge. Sebastian dueled Lucius while others untied Dominic. Outside, Cedric and Maximilian arrived, the sounds of struggle alerting them.

Joining the fray, Cedric knocked Lucius' dagger away while Maximilian disarmed his men. With Rafael defeated at the castle, all hope was not lost.

But Lucius was cunning. As Sebastian moved in for the final blow, Lucius grabbed Dominic, holding his blade to the prince's throat. "Back away or he dies!"

All paused, tension thick as Lucius slipped into the night, hostage in tow. They had won this battle - but the war was far from over.

With Dominic taken hostage, Cedric knew they had no time to lose. He divided his men into teams to track Lucius through the dense forest.

Sebastian led one group. "Dominic is like a brother to me. I will not rest until he is safe," he vowed.

They soon found signs of passage - broken branches and footprints in the damp earth. Following stealthily, they caught a glimpse of Lucius in the distance.

A chase ensued through the towering trees. Lucius was wily but weighted down by Dominic. Slowly the gap closed until at last Sebastian's company had them within reach.

A daring rescue attempt was planned. But would they retrieve Dominic unharmed? All hung on their courage and skills in this climactic confrontation. Dominic's life hung in the balance - they dared not fail!

Sebastian signalled his company to halt as Lucius came into view ahead. "We must distract him," Sebastian whispered. "Then three of you grab Dominic while I engage Lucius."

Maximilian threw his dagger past Lucius' head, the blade sinking into a tree with a thunk. As Lucius whirled around, Sebastian leapt from the brush with a cry. Their steel sang as the two princes duelled fiercely.

Meanwhile, Lysander, Adrian and Alessandro dashed forward. Lucius kicked at them while fighting one-handed, but Sebastian disarmed him with a deft flick.

Untying Dominic, they fled—but Lucius snatched up his fallen dagger and gave chase. Heedless of danger, Sebastian shielded Dominic, receiving a painful cut to his arm before Lucius was overcome.

At last Dominic was safe, and justice served on their enemies. But new troubles loomed, and the realm's young heroes would face their greatest trial yet...
