Myra’s sham and Sanchit’s ire…

  The last three days went by uneventfully. The class realized that the break was coming to its end and they needed to devote some time to academics. Myra had already finished her assignments and was now preparing for future lectures. 

"The weather seems quite dull these days." Sanchit quipped to Aryaman. They were on a video call. So Aryaman could clearly see her expressions. 

"We can't be too happy too soon. This could be the silence before the storm." Aryaman cautioned him. "School is about to begin; you never know what she'll do next." He teased. 

Myra shut her eyes and inhaled deeply and spoke, "I am glad even my silence entertains the two of you." 

The two men chuckled. She was gathering her books with the intention to leave the room but Sanchit held her by the hand and said, "Now you are being unreasonable. Can't we have some fun at your expense?" 

"Go ahead, who is stopping you?" she said sarcastically.
