A Hope

Alpha, there are many Alpha men in the Werewolf world but not many Alpha women there. They are not needed in the Werewolf's life. And the difference between Alpha and Omega is very visible.

If Alpha has the character and soul of a leader then Omega is the opposite, but the visible trait is their eyes. The bead of an Alpha male is red and an Omega is yellow. But even so, there is one Werewolf eye color that is kept secret by the public.

He was the color blue, the color of the eyes that said he was different. Eye color is like a curse because that eye color must belong to an Omega who once killed Alpha. But in Caroline's case, it's different, the blue beads that Jeremy sees in Caroline's Werewolf form are not because Caroline has killed another Alpha.

But! There was a secret behind the blue bead and Caroline herself didn't know. Caroline's gaze was blankly looking at Jeremy who was still trying to convince himself that what she saw was real. The bright blue bead that shone through the Alpha's fury was impossible for Jeremy to pass up.

He saw it at a glance and Jeremy was even more convinced of it "did you ever kill an Alpha?" Jeremy asked trying to calm himself as he looked at Caroline who was trying to move away.

She wasn't a murderer but why would Jeremy ask such an unreasonable question. Why? Caroline's body hit Luis's prison door making Luis approach and touch Caroline's shoulders. Luis's gaze hinted at a fit of anger at Jeremy but he was more worried about Caroline now.

Caroline's body cooled with the thought that kept on thinking about the nonsensical. Caroline was confused, what to say and what to do. Everyone seemed to be looking at him with contempt, this was more than she was being looked at with a cripple.

It's like she's such a nuisance in that place, it felt like Caroline wanted to say that she didn't do that. But she was too scared, she was scared just because their gazes were on him. She was still an Omega who had a fear of a higher-stated Werewolf.

And Caroline felt it now. Luis couldn't take it anymore and he looked straight at Jeremy now "what are you doing, she's Omega. Now you want to say that Caroline is a curse!"

Luis knows his words will hurt Caroline but if he doesn't say this Jeremy won't stop. Jeremy looks very curious, he doesn't seem to care about Caroline who feels uncomfortable. And Jeremy just wanted to hear the answers to all his thoughts.

"Curse?" Caroline finally spoke up, glancing at Luis who realized that Caroline was trying to be strong.

Caroline chuckled at Jeremy who looked confused. Now there are six people there including himself and she will say this first "I never killed an Alpha and I'm a real Omega. Unlike your stupid words, well that seems to be all I want to say"

Caroline removed herself from Luis and immediately stood up straight looking at Luis who looked guilty. But Caroline instead smiled saying it was okay with her lips. There was no sound and Caroline walked straight into her cell letting a Gamma lock her cell.

It's over now but Caroline is still thinking nonsense. She still thought that what Jeremy said could be true, but Caroline denied it by shaking her head quickly. Luis who saw that could only stare at Jennifer who was silent without intending to say anything.

Jennifer left, she glanced at Caroline briefly before leaving the place. And Jeremy also left without a word followed by a Gamma and Cetta. Now it was just the two of them there leaning against the wall behind him. The wall that felt cold was like saying that Caroline was still feeling so bad now.

She didn't understand why Jeremy could think like that, she was an Omega. Even his father and late mother also said that she was Omega. Then who's at fault? Why is she accused of having killed an Alpha? Hey .. she's been locked up in the house.

His life revolves around home, school and if she is lucky she will race on the streets. And how could Jeremy say such an unfounded thing, wouldn't that word make other people misunderstand? Yes, if it is not him who is affected, she will not have a problem but it is him who is affected and surely everyone who believes will corner him.

She who is considered a disability is immediately looked down upon and ignored as if she is not considered to exist. Then what if she is considered a curse and a flaw at the same time? It seemed his father's wish to make himself miserable in this place would come true.

"Caroline..."

Luis looked at Caroline showing a concern that looked so sickening. Again Caroline felt that disgusting feeling and she didn't know how to get rid of it. Luis came closer to touch the cell that was so cold against the skin of his hand.

"Don't mind what he says, don't you know that no one can be trusted in this place!" said Luis hoping that Caroline would listen.

Caroline sighed glancing at Luis before closing her eyes ignoring Luis who was also sighing. There was no sound after that just silence between a disgusting feeling from Caroline and a worried feeling from Luis. Caroline just wanted to calm herself down before replying to Luis.

At a time like this, she would surely destroy everything, the memory of his habit of being fed up with Luis's behavior and getting them into trouble made Caroline realize. She didn't want things like that to keep happening and she wanted to calm himself down before it all happened.

Compared to Luis who was understanding towards her, she was just a woman who relied on her ego. And Caroline is annoyed when she remembers that, Caroline sighed again opening her blue beads looking at Luis's dark bead who was still waiting "if I could then I wouldn't think about it"

Luis was silent, what Caroline said was true. If he were in Caroline's position he would have thought the same way, he would have kept thinking until she got an answer to Jeremy's "okay, I get it. And I hope you get the answer you want soon"

Luis's words made Caroline nod, hoping that what Luis said would happen. And Caroline hoped that this would be the last.
