Arena brimmed with happiness since it was very rare of Roy to cede his attention to someone else then his sisters and friends.

But the next moment she flinched as her mind processed his words.

"What? She moved next to you?" her brows curved.

That's what Roy wanted to hear from her. he wanted to know why this girl who always looked meek was now his neighbour. Maybe with the help of Arena he can come to know how Nancy moved next to him and who told her his address since it was kept quite confidential from many.

Arena threw a glare at Clancy, "Nancy, how come you moved next to him and who gave you the money to rent such an expensive place?".

'Archard 10' was one of the most expensive buildings where mostly richest gets the buy a flat.

For Clancy, it was like she was getting buried into one after another trouble.

Her life style was different and most importantly, she didn't want to stay in a place where others were after her life every single moment.

She was afraid that she might kill them without reaching to the answer first if she lives there.

It was because of her temper that she resisted in living in a house where the people who killed her sister was continuously in front of her eyes.

She smiled awkwardly. Trying to come up with an answer, she quickly said after getting an idea. "M…mom gave me".

"Don't lie, why would mom give you so much money to rent a place there". Arena shouted.

This was probably the first time Kina was seeing Arena shouting because whenever she met her, she always thought that she was the kindest girl in the world and was the easiest to be taken advantage of.

Seeing her enraged face right now, she was having some other thought.

"I asked mother for it in return of giving you one of my kidneys. As you know, I always wanted to try living a bit differently, so I asked her and she happily gave it to me".

Keeping her clasped hands near her chest, Clancy pretended to be a nice girl which was hardest for her. She was the character that never let others look down on her neither shout at her.

Having a bold personality, she was struggling to act like her sister who had the opposite personality as hers.

"Lier, mother would never give you money for giving me a kidney".

As soon as Arena said that, she flinched back at what she has said.

She was a girl who was full of herself and thought that no one could be better than her. In rage after finding out that Clancy who ran away from the house rather than sleeping on the road was in the house next to her crush, she had an outburst and said something she shouldn't have.

Knowing completely well that no one knew about the fact that it was Clancy whose kidney she has taken, she herself confirmed it in front of those people from whom she wanted to keep this a secret.

Whereas Clancy, who had no idea that this was a secret to others, looked at others startled face in confusion.

Kina and Roy had an expression that said – how can this impossible thing happen whereas, the younger sibling of theirs looked proudly toward her for God knows what reason.

Clancy scratched her forehead and looked down.

It seems my lie is busted. Huh… I should have come outside after doing the homework, now everything is in chaos and so is my mind.

Before getting rid of this Garino family, I wanted to catch the person behind them who might have been ordering them to do this but it seems that it will be a failure.

What a let down! But I am not going to give up this easily. Even if I have to torture this whole family to tell me who were behind my sister murder, I am not going to kill them easily.

Clancy mindset was simple. Whether she reaches her goal or not, the Garino family demise must reach them without any obstacle since they were the direct factor of her sister's death.

She thought that this was how it was going to end but when Kina opened her mouth, she was taken aback.

"You gave your kidney to her?" Kina asked seriously.

Beside Arena and her, and the Loren family, there was no one in the stuff room.

"Well, yes. I thought everyone knew… about it," she looked down at Arena whose head was turned down, "was it not the case?" she continued.

The situation was kind of awkward but thank goodness, she wasn't the reason for it. No one suspected her identity neither they were caring about the money matter anymore.

All Kina wanted to know was why was she only aware of the half-truth.

"Arena, you didn't say anything about it to us. And Clancy, why did you never asked or talked about this to Roy before preparing for the kidney donation?" Kina sternly asked from the two of them.

What the f*ck? What is she expecting me to say? From where should I bring more lies?

Clancy sweated on those questions.

Things were in the right direction or wrong… she didn't even have this simplest idea when Arena turned the situation which was not in her favour earlier.

"Sister, it was you who told me to not let anyone hear about it or else no one will marry you but why…" tears started to trip down her cheeks incessantly. She looked like a pitiful being after blaming everything on Clancy.

But that was not enough to erase the doubts in Kina's and others mind. It took her so, many years to build trust with Kina but looked like it won't take long to break that trust into shards.

"Sis, why are you doing this?".

Sigh… at least this money and rent topic has changed with something else but what excuse should I come up with now?

I don't really need to give a good impression of mine to Loren's. They don't have a good image of sister in their head so, I don't need to create either.

Let's focus, focus!

She took a deep breath and looked down, "I am sorry, Arena but it seems like I forgot the things I told you earlier. I don't deserve to be here, so I will go now".

Yes, let's escape from this place. Once I am done with looking at the info Lan has given me, I will be more prepared to act in front of them. And also, I need to come up with a plan before taking any actions.

Like a pitiful person, she turned back to leave. she grinned after turning back since she was finally leaving this suffocating place but than Kina stopped her.

Clancy jolted.

"It must be hard to move after having an operation. Come and sit here, I will tell my brother to send you back personally". Kina was now a bit kinder toward Clancy.

Judging from her expression and tone now, it didn't appear that they disliked her like those from the Garino family.

Kina threw a look at her brother and nudged him with her elbow, glaring him to nod at her words or say something.

"Just do what sister says". He aloofly while looking somewhere else said.
