Nanjiro" Wake up you two, you don't want to be late for your first day of school!" Nanjiroh yelled as his voice echoed throughout the house.

Kei groggily rolled off his bed and stood up, and started walking to the bathroom.

Kei' First day of school huh, I hope it isn't boring like some of the other schools I went to.'

As Kai turned a corner, on the other side was Ryoma who looked at his brother. Both brothers didn't say a word and just stared at each other intensely. You see tho the house is big it only has one bathroom. With there being six people under the same roof. And everyone taking at least 30 minutes to get ready. It can be a battleground, sometimes.

Ryoma didn't waste any more time as he sprinted to Ruyuma and yelled.

Ryoma" BIG BROTHER: DROPKICK."

Kei" DEATH KWAN DO: SHOULDER BLOCK."

And so just like every morning the two wake up and fight for supremacy for who will use the bathroom first.

(Downstairs kitchen)

Nanjiro" Haha, looks like they're at it again."

Rinko" Sigh, honey should we perhaps get a renovation done, and add an extra bathroom."

Nanjiro" There's no need, let them fight. It's good for bonding." He said while reading his por, cough, cough I mean magazine.

(50 minutes later)

Kei walks down the stairs and finds that Ryoma was already eating breakfast. Sitting down with a yawn, he dug straight into his food.

Tho he's been all around the world and has met and eaten from some of the greatest chefs. There's nothing as fulfilling than a meal cooked by a mother.

(Seishum academy)

Kei" So this is my new school huh. Let's hope it won't be boring. Hey, Ryoma let's meet at the tennis courts and look around after class to get a feel for things."

Ryoma" Suit yourself, oh and dad said Not to get into any fight while attending."

Kei" Do I look like someone that would fight on the first day of school."

Ryoma doesn't respond and just stares at Kai with an emotionless expression." Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiii."

Kei" Fine, I'll keep myself on a leash."

After the brother's conversation. They walked silently throughout the rest of the walk, relaxing while admiring the nature and architecture of the school.

(Lunch break)

After maths, it was now time for lunch, and Kai decided he would have it on the rooftop of the school.

As he was walking down an empty hallway that led to the stairs of the roof, he stopped as he saw a girl near the same age as him kneeling on the ground, where her bento seemed to have fallen.

Tho one couldn't see her full expression because of the charcoal black hair covering her face, Kai could tell she was sad and on the verge of tears. But surprisingly she managed to keep herself composed and ran of. Probably to get something to clean the mess.

Remembering the sad stricken face Kai couldn't help but sigh. Taking a note and a pen from his bag he wrote a note and stuck it his lunch that he then put on the floor, where the girl had just been.

Kei" Tch, it's not like I'm that hungry. Plus she's way to skinny, better her eating it than me."

What Kai didn't know was that this simple act of kindness would bring a whole lot more colour into his life.

(End of school)

Walking out of class I meet up with Ryoma so we could check out the tennis club, before heading home.

???" Hey, aren't you in my class? I'm Horio, with two years of tennis experience! And seeing the rackets you guys are carrying, you guys are going to join the tennis club as well? Did you know our tennis club is really strong?"

The boy who introduced himself as Horio blabbered on and on about himself and the tennis club while Ryomo got bored in the first five seconds And walked off while asking an older looking student for directions.

Ryoma" Excuse me, which is the way to the tennis court?" Ryoma asked as the student pointed to the direction of the court. Ryoma thanked the student and walked away with Kei not far behind him.

(5 minutes later)

Horio" Holy Moly, are these facilities amazing. As expected of Seigaku."

As Ryoma, Kei and the tag-along Horio arrived they met two fellow freshmen, Kachiro and Katsuo.

They explained how most of the 2nd and 3rd years were gone on a playing tour. So the registration would happen tomorrow. Most of the freshman members had gone home. The only reason these two were here was because they had ball-collecting duty.

???" Yo, Are you guys going to join the tennis club? We're 2nd year Hayashi and Ikeda." The second years said as they walked through the court gate.

Horio, Kachiro, Katsuo" Nice to meet you!"

The freshman greeted there senpai's excluding Kei and Ryoma who only looked on in boredom. Seeing as both Kei and Ryoma didn't give them any respect. Ikeda, yelled at them.

Ikeda" Oy, why didn't you introduce yourselves." When Ryoma and Kei completely ignored him again he got a bit more aggressive with his verbal tongue.

Ikeda" Oy BASTARD, can't you hear me."

Hayashi" Hey, won't you play a game with us?" Hayashi asked, smiling at Ikeda while holding him back from getting physical.

Katsuo" What kind of game?" Katsuo asked a bit curious.

Hayashi" We'll put this can here, and you guys will stand over and the other side of the court. The goal is to hit the can down. You have 10 tries, each ball 500yen. But for you guys since you're just freshman, we'll give you a start off trial at 200yen per person. If you win, the prize is 10,000 yen."

Horio" 10,000 yen? Of course, we'll play!" Horio, Katsuo and Kachiro exclaimed while taking out their rackets.

Kei" Hey can I break the arm of the senpai who called me a bastard." Kei whispered to his brother secretly. While Ryoma only sighed at his brothers tendencies fight first then ask questions later.
