2. Useless vampire

Upon arriving at the mansion, the doors automatically opened.

Several guards and servants were seen welcoming the prince.

They all bowed to show their respect for him.

Once the doors opened, Xinjian went straight to his room to rest the girl.

He gently and softly laid the girl on the bed.

"Where am I?" she whispered, her eyes fluttering open.

"I'm sorry I disturbed your sleep... You are with me now," he said gently, holding the girl's small face.

"Who-who are you?" she asked, still sounding scared.

"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you, trust me," he said again, shifting to hold her tiny hand.

Hearing the gentle voice of the person in front of her, the girl slowly began to calm down a bit.

"What makes you not want to look at me?" Xinjian asked.

"Huh? ... My eyes hurt if I force them to see," she answered, starting to cry again.

This made Xinjian feel deeply pained because his girl was suffering.

"Alright, it's okay, don't force it. If I may ask, what is your name?" he asked, curious.

Because he hadn't had the chance to learn her name before, Xinjian had left, promising to find her again.

"My name is Yujie," she answered, her head bowed.

Xinjian got off the bed and pressed a button in his room to call the servants.

"Change her clothes and bathe her without a single scratch, understand!" he commanded firmly.

"Understood, sir," the servants replied in unison, as there were many of them, not just one or two.

"Miss... This way."

"Don't come near me," Yujie screamed in fear.

"They won't hurt you. I'm here, just relax," he said lovingly.

Hearing his gentle voice calmed her down again, and she nodded her head.

The servants then gently guided Yujie to the bathroom.

After that, Xinjian immediately looked for his phone to contact someone.

"Come here now!" Xinjian said coldly but firmly.

"Yes, sir, right away," the doctor replied.

He had just contacted his personal doctor to examine Yujie due to her very weak condition.

In the treatment room, Dr. Lin meticulously examined Yujie's entire body.

A few minutes later.

"What are the results?" Xinjian asked with a cold gaze.

"I'm sorry to say this, sir, but her condition is very bad, especially her eyes," Dr. Lin explained seriously.

"Give her the most effective treatment so that her body can recover quickly and become healthy again. As for her eyes, I'll make the medicine myself," Xinjian instructed.

However, the girl remained silent as if she were mute.

"Okay, I'll feed you," he said gently, making Yujie comply and unknowingly accept the food.

Bite after bite, she finished the meal without leaving a single crumb.

A few minutes later, Xinjian took Yujie's vitamin tablets.

"Take your medicine first, then you can sleep," he instructed softly, without any pressure.

After taking her medicine, Yujie lay down, adjusting her sleeping position with Xinjian's help.

"Good girl," he said gently.

"I'm stepping out for a bit, have a good rest," Xinjian thought, not wanting to speak aloud and disturb her sleep.

"I entrust this girl to you. If anything happens to her, you will bear the consequences," Xinjian warned his servants.

"Yes, sir," they replied in unison.

"Who is that girl? It seems the master holds her in very high regard," one servant asked another.

"You better keep quiet. If the master hears, it could cost you your life," advised another servant.

"Alright, I'll keep my mouth shut," he said quietly.

"Yes... that's better than talking too much, as it will only endanger your life," the other replied.

"Watch out, Wang Jie. I won't let you live in peace," Ying threatened before disappearing without a trace.

"Go away... Go far away and don't come back. Useless vampire, always causing trouble," he said, still taunting and a bit annoyed.

"Do you need anything, miss?" a servant asked.
