Completing the tasks

Everyone in the living room sat in silence. Their attention was on Jun.

The first task is something everyone had decided during the last evening. The second can be arranged once they discuss. But, the third task isn't easy.

Not only have they had to perform mixed duo, but the power of choosing also lies with the dorm leader, this complicates things.

For the past twelve hours, Shonwu and Vernon barely had spoken to Jun because of the negative feelings generated by Jun snatching the dorm leader position with a trick.

Now when they heard about the powers of the dorm leader, their feelings only turned worse.

They couldn't even bring out the necessary words to convince Jun due to nervousness.

Jongho seemed like he was fine with either way but was reluctant to voice out his opinions as he is on the younger line. He was waiting for someone to speak up first.

Thankfully, for him, Daniel was close enough to Jun, had good relations with everyone, and is the type to state his opinion even in front of the elders.

He said, "Hyung, we don't know who will be chosen from B-Block, right? You have the key and enter the central block to contact the management. So, how about you go and send a message to them?"

"Hmm?" Everyone turned their heads towards him in surprise. They didn't expect this kind of suggestion. Realization dawned upon Jun. He understood the meaning behind Daniel's suggestion.

"But, why?" Vernon asked him.

Jun answered in place of Daniel, "B-Block will also have top-5 contestants of the last elimination round, right? So that means there will be Yuju, NC.A, Euijin, Arin, and Winter.

There will be no problem if it is NC.A, Yuju, or even Winter. But, Arin is more of a performer and Euijin is a dancer. So, if they chose Euijin, then, it should be either Euijeon (Daniel), Shonwu-Hyung, or Hansol.

If they chose Arin, then, Euijeon will be an optimal choice but if it's the other three, then, either me or Jongho."

Everyone thought about Jun's explanation for a moment and realized it makes sense.

But, Vernon and Shonwu don't want a mixed duo at this stage no matter how much it makes sense.

From the start of the program to date, except during the first week, they haven't got any chance to pick up their song or performance. Everything is decided by the judges.

However, now that they finally had an opportunity before them, they can't lose it.

It was then, something clicked inside Vernon and he slowly said, "But, lately, Sung-Jun-Hyung became a lot better in dancing. Two weeks ago, it was JYP-nim who mentioned that Hyung is now one of the top-5 dancers in the program."

"Hmm, wouldn't that mean if Sung-Jun-ah chooses himself, then, any girl from B-Block would be fine?" Shonwu also pitched in, to support Vernon's statement.

Daniel displayed a frown on his face for a second before calming down. He was observant in nature. From the past couple of weeks, he knew that the behavior of Shonwu towards Jun has been changed. But, it was never like this.

At first, Shonwu used to be a Hyung, closer to them and always supported the two of them. Then, three weeks ago, Shonwu acted a little bit uncomfortable around the two of them after his rank fell in the thirties. He even stopped playing COD.

At that time, Daniel thought he was under heavy pressure due to the ranking. Then, Shonwu slowly climbed the ranks and managed to enter the top 5 in the last elimination round. Daniel expected everything would change to the same as before where both of them can play COD or PUBG together. But, he now realized something went wrong.

Unfortunately, Jun didn't realize it at all. He even thought Vernon and Shonwu is acknowledging his dancing skills and felt a bit happier.

In the end, Jun scrapped away Daniel's suggestion and volunteered himself, thinking that this decision might also earn him a few bonus points.

"Okay, I will nominate myself for the mixed duo," Jun announced his decision, surprising Daniel. Vernon and Shonwu sighed in relief.

"But, Hyung, didn't you already make preparations for your performance?" Daniel asked him.

Jun shrugged his shoulders, "There's also a challenge round. I can sing it if I was challenged or I can perform it for the next week. It doesn't matter, anyway."

Jun thought about surprising the mentors and the judges with his new song but, it doesn't matter as he can sing other songs too. Maybe, he can just save it for the finals.

"If anyone wanted to volunteer, then please say it now." Jun gave others, a choice too so that it doesn't seem like a selfish decision to the others that are looking through the cameras. Jun was too much aware of the cameras and can't do anything about the family trait.

There's no response for it and he clapped, "okay, it is decided that I will perform mixed-duo. With that said, we completed the first and third tasks.

Go to the gym and measure weights, then, let's be done with the timetable. After breakfast, we can begin our practice. As for those games, we can play them at any time."

Everyone agreed with Jun's plan.

Jun was standing on the side with a notepad and pen while everyone else is checking their weight one after another.

Once again, these two people became an issue here. One is slim and weighs too little, which is affecting the stamina. And the other is a bit heavy, although mainly due to the muscles, Jun still felt that he needed to lose a bit of weight.

Had he been silent, it would have been better but he went ahead and started his opinions, ruining the relations even more. Now, in their eyes, Jun appeared like he's trying to pose as a leader and showing authority.

Once the second task is finished, everyone sat together in the living room.

As the leader, Jun took the lead once again. "First, we need to decide on the limits like from when to when."

"How about 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.?" Daniel made a suggestion. It is the old timings of the Genesis training facility, which they were familiar with.

Jun nodded and noted down.

"And we need to have a common time for breakfast. In those timings, the training space belongs to no one." Jun reminded them.

"7 to 8?" This time, Jongho suggested the time.

Jun nodded, "So, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., 8 pm. to 9 p.m., and 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., the training space belongs to no one."

"If something doesn't belong to no one, then, it can belong to everyone, you know," Shonwu spoke about the flaw. "Last night, you practiced until midnight, didn't you? Just like that, some might think they wanted to practice because no one is there. And if two people ended up the same, then, it will violate the rules and might receive a demerit."

After a brief silence, Daniel put forth his suggestion as a reply to Shonwu's complaint. "Then, let's everyone take one day. For example, today is Saturday and it is assigned to Hyung (Shonwu). Then, Apart from Hyung, no one is allowed to use the training space during the breaks."

"There's no need for that." Jun shook his head.

Everyone looked at him curiously.
