29. Thank you

Bi Yuhan almost laughed out loud when he saw the crumbled face of the kid.

Mo Ling looked at him sharply for a second and took a deep breath to control the curses from spilling out.

They both continued eating their breakfast while one laughing inside and the other cursing inside.

When they were at the end of their meal, Bi Yuhan got a call from his secretary.

After he answered it, his expression became serious and his aura became dangerous for a sec.

"I'll be there in half an hour." With that he ended the call and looked at Mo Ling seriously.

She felt that serious look on her and asked without even lifting her head..

"What do you want to ask?"

"Did something happen to Bi Ruixi yesterday?"

"Mmm. Some hired hooligans tried to molest and take her naked photos." She answered calmly.

"Hired?"

She just looked at him and didn't respond.

Bi Yuhan is a smart one. She didn't have to spell it out in detail.

"What was she doing at that place in that hour without her bodyguards?" He nodded lightly and followed up with another question.

Mo Ling smirked but the smile didn't reach her eyes. They were biting cold.

"You should ask her this. No?"

From the boy's expression he knew that it had something to do with him and didn't ask further.

He got up to leave the house and specifically instructed the butler to take care of Mo Ling since he's sick.

When Mo Ling heard that she fell silent for a moment and watched him walking out of the door.

She followed until she reached the threshold and looked at his back.

"Young Master Bi." She called out softly.

Bi Yuhan turned around to look when he heard her voice.

"Thank you." She thanked him sincerely for his care.

She knew the difference between good and bad. And she treats the people who care about her equally kindly and treats the people who have ill intentions towards her equally cruelly.

Bi Yuhan was surprised at her expression of gratitude. And then felt his heart ache for a person for the first time in his life.

'What a simple kid. All I did was to care for him a little and he's thanking him with much sincerity.'

'I didn't think much about the situation of this kid before. But now when I looked at him, I finally knew that we as a family neglected this kid a lot.'

'I couldn't imagine how this kid felt after losing his family and came to live under someone else's roof with new people who were strangers to him.'

'Its not too late. From now on I'll make up for the familial love he lacks and look after him.'

"If you're sincere in thanking me then call me Brother Han." He just wanted to tease the kid a little.

He enjoyed seeing different emotions displayed on that little face. The boy didn't disappoint him at all. Because he glared at him angrily and shut the door with a bang.

"Hahaha….."

Mo Ling can hear the laughter even through the door and gritted her teeth.

'This evil guy. What's with his obsession of making me call him Brother Han!!'
