It has been a few months that Ashara has returned to Dornes, a few months before Ellia has sent her a letter state that she wishes to accompany her to King's landing. It was Ellia idea to matched Leo and Ashara together, ever since then they always have been closed. With Ashara ability to apparate, she has been taking Ellia to Chroyane or stay a few days in Dorne.
In the Water Garden, she has met with Doran and Obreyn daughters playing together. Obara Sand, Oberyn eldest daughter seem to be the one that taking care of the three little devils, seeing them play together made Ashara think if she could have a child of her own.
During these few months, she has been back to Starfall to see her family. On her journey due to the improved roads, many people and merchants have been using them to travel around and a Military outpost that has been build for the soldier that patrolling the road.
While in Starfall with Ellia, she told Ashara that they should go and see the massive gate that has block the Prince's Pass, Ashara agreed since it only a few day ride from Starfall. When they can see the massive gate that has block the Prince's Pass, many Dorne soldiers have been posted here to defend it. The Pink Marbles stone was the material that Leo has supplied them with to build the gate, it the same stone that the water garden was made from.
As they approach closer to the gate, they have been spotted by the soldier that guarding the gate. They have seen Ellia Martell and Ashara Daynes riding on thiere horse while twenty Dorne soldiers that Doran has ordered to guard them, they were little startles to see four shadow guard with thiere nightingale armour is closed by which also on horseback.
Warden of the Prince's Pass, Lord Franklyn Fowler and his family has been in charge of guarding the Gate of Dorne. The same gate also has been build by Lord of the Stone Way, Lord Anders Yronwood and his family. In the Prince's Pass Gate, the girls have been escorted inside the gate and met with Lord Franklyn Fowler who is surprised to see two beautiful girls that have come.
There are many stares as they walk past the soldier, merchant and peoples that used the gate. Unable to approach due to the soldier that protecting them and the Martell and Dyane family symbol is on display told them which house they are from, ever since she was connected to her brother magic. She is much healthier now and her beauty has been well known all over Dornes and the rest of six kingdoms, many of the soldier and peoples has been selling glance at her but they know that she is the Princess.
Next to her is Ashara Dyane, she a little smaller than Ellia but her long black hair and violet eyes has been mesmerizing lots of people. Not many know who she is but they know her Brother and her family, due to the presence of the Shadow guards that has been around her made others a little scared but Ashara just ignore them while playing with her Pets Revans Hugin and Munin, rumour state that she is betrothed to Prince Leonidas Martell but not many people seen and heard of the young Prince these few years.
Back to the Sunspear, Doran and Emaya has explained that they will sail to King's Landing. Doran, Emaya and Ashara will come with Ellia and attend her wedding. Asahara has gifted them a new set of cloth that she can wear as an apology due to Leo is unable to attend, Doran going with them and asked the King if they can conquer the Stepstone due to the increase of Dornes trade ships that have been raided by pirates.
At the end of the year of 279 AC, Prince Rhaegar Targaryen is betrothed to the Princes of Dornes, Princess Elia Martell. Ashara ravens and her men have told her that the Prince has been gathering favour from the lords of the seven kingdoms, Emaya is happy to see her younger brother Prince Lewyn Martell a member of the Kingsguard in service of King Aerys II Targaryen.
Lord Tywin Lannister hand of the king also attend the wedding briefly, they married in the early year of 280 AC which has been attended by many Lord and Ladies that supported the Targaryen rule. Doran has told the king that he needs permission to conquer the Stepstone due to the increase of the Pirate attacking thiere trading ships. Lord Tywin was present and persuade the mad king to reject the request due to the unknown force that Dornes has now and the wealth that not far from his.
The rumour of Twin has been running the kingdom better than the mad king is still in the air, King Aerys II is still bitter about the rumour that has spread around and wanted to rejected his council. Varys, Master of whisperers as well as Grand Maester Pycelle also shown their concern in which the King rejected Doran request.
Doran was disappointed that he didn't receive the permission that he wanted but he has set his eyes on the small council, he feels that the reason why the king rejected him is that Dornes has no power in the Small council or King's landing. He still set his eyes on the Stepstone as Leo suggested, but he needs to plan it well as he doesn't want the whole seven kingdoms to attack Dorne for this reason.
After the wedding, the couple didn't stay long in King's Landing and return to Dragonstone with Ashara to accompany her. she has been with Ellia all the time and helping her, many people have been showing her interest in her beauty that matched with Princess Ellia. Using the Legilimency she has read all the bad intention that they have on her and using magic she has to alter thiere memories to protect herself from the bad intention that other people have on her which include the interest of the Prince of her.
At Ellia wedding she has worn a dark robe that matched her figures, she dances with Doran and Lewyn and other Targaryen supporters. Doran and Lewyn Martell have been going around the parties and saying Ashara is betrothed to thiere youngest brother and nephew, many have been asking about the young Prince of Dorne. Many wanted to hear the young prince sing and wanted to compare them to Prince Rhaegar talent and good looks, Ashara has shown a bright and alluring smile every time she talks about Leo.
From this everyone know that the relationship between them is not just political but it seems truly like each other, many of the single Nobel has been jealous to see Ashara happy with her betrothed to Prince Leonidas Martell. This made them wanted to see the mysterious young prince in person and him why he not attending the wedding of his sister.
King Aerys II Targaryen and Prince Rhaegar also wanted to know, her replied was that since Doran is attending and Obreyn is away, Prince Leonidas has been staying in Dorne. They asked Doran how they manage to make the two gates of Dorne that have been built, Doran and everyone in the family agreed that it was because of Leo, the design, material and fund have been supplied by him.
They explain some of the changes that they wanted to know, like the construction of the gates in Princess pass and Boneway. The Trading ships, roads and farms that have been producing much food for the people of Dorne, people are much happier now and can make a living. Doran only told them what they already know, they probably heard the same thing from the spies and merchant that come to Dorne.
King Aerys II Targaryen is still suspicious of a rebellion that will come from Dorne, but by marrying his successor to the Princes of Dorne would he think that he would be able to control them. Prince Rhaegar also happy with the decision that his father and mother has made, but tension from the other Lords that he gaining the support of Dorne.
By the end of 280 AC, Princess Ellia Martell gave birth to little Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. The Prince is happy seeing his daughter with hair that matches his, Ellia is still healthy due to Leo magic has been keeping her on her top physical condition at all times. Ashara has been taking care of the little dragon with Ellia, she wanted one with Leo in which made Ellia happy as well.
In Dragonstone, Ashara has been busy gathering information and conspiracy that her ravens and shadow guard has gathered. Lord Tywin Lannister has a massive argument with the king and attending to return to his home is Castely rock, she also read the mind of the Prince and find out that he wanted to be king.
Due to the way King Aerys II Targaryen has been acting, the realm has been split into three faction. The Targaryen supporter wanted the Prince to take the Iron thrones, Doran also in favour so he can slowly put his trusted men to take some control and wanted to show Dornes presence in king's landing.
The other supporter is those who are not afraid and sick of the Mad King, they wanted someone else to rule the kingdom. They're also the neutral party who just wait and as they will support the winning faction. However, like always. Ashara has informed Leo of all the information that she has gathered, Prince Rhaegar has been busy trying to gather all the Targaryen loyalist. He has Doran if he can help him with the tourney that he and his father wanted to organise, Doran agreed but didn't send the whole amount of gold that they requested.
There seems to be a little friction between the couple ever since the Prince was back from a place that he won't tell, Ashara read her mind and see that he has met with a which and told him of a prophecy. From what she gathered that the which has told him about The Prince That Was Promised or the reincarnation of Azor Ahai, from his thought Ashara, knew that the Prince believed of the Prophecy and wanted to fulfil it. But from what the witch told him that The Prince That Was Promised will come between the union of fire and ice, he and Ashra were confused but she can read that the prince wanted two more offspring to matched the three-headed dragon.
Seeing his eldest daughter in Ashara arms, the prince mentions that it was tradition for a Targaryen to gift thiere offspring dragon egg. But the Targaryen doesn't have any dragon anymore and this is also one of the reasons why many Lord in westores is not afraid of the Targaryen, Ashara and Elia was curious but they have never seen a live dragon before.
Ashara has seen the little prince as her own, Ellia also happy to see them closed as she knows that her daughter would be safe with family members, Ashara has told her men and Ravens to search for a dragon egg so can gift it to the little princess. She told them to search Dragonstone itself as she can feel that Dragonstone has some traces of strong magic, her men have found that there is a room where they kept dragon eggs but none can be found.
She is disappointed but she then remembers that Leo might be able to help concerning the dragon egg, she told her men to send a message to Leo and she wanted a dragon egg for little Rhaenys as she is a Targaryen and she wanted to see her with a dragon. Leo has told her he soon be on his way to King's landing and he missed her and can't wait to meet the little princess, as for the egg will think of some things if not he can go to Old Valeria to see if he can acquire it.
By the end of 280 AC, Prince Rhaegar has told that they have been summoned to King's landing as his mother Queen Rhaella Targaryen also wanted to meet the little princess and also wanted to attend the tourney that they are still organising.
Leonidas also sent word that he will be arriving in six months as travelling using his ship from Chroyane, Prince Oberyn Martell and his sellsword company has to disguise themself as a pirate and trying to conquer the stepstone by the order of Doran Martell. They Lyness have been helping him in secret when they patrolling around the water of Stepstone and Dorne.
The Process has been unnoticeable but Orbeyn and his men have been conquering the island one by one and gaining more and more people that willing to join him, the tension of the seven kingdom has increased due to the increasing amount of pirates has been more active raiding trading ships that sail through the Stepstone.
Ashara has told Ellia that Leonidas has made his way here to see them, this made her happy as she hasn't seen him for many years and can wait to introduce her daughter to him. Happy with the news Ellia told her husband that her little brother would be coming, a few weeks later travelling they made thiere way to King's landing where they meet with Queen Rhaella Targaryen who loved little Rhaenys.
However, when the baby was presented to Rhaegar's parents at court, Queen Rhaella embraced her granddaughter warmly, but King Aerys II refused to touch or hold the child and complained that she "smells Dornish". Which made Ellia and Ashara a little confused about why he would say that, but it seems that tension was defused by Rhaella who seen the unhappy face of the two girls.
