Chapter Seven

"Now I see that all of your reputation is based on lies!! where did all your spirit go?! Huh?!"

"I told you once to stay off my territory Ben! But now I'll have to beat it into you! Maybe then you'll remember!"

Owen was confused. But before he could say anything the young adult threw a punch at him, landing right on the bridge of his nose.

As blood drips down Owen's face from his nose the thug twisted his fist into Owen's shirt tightening his grip. Just as he was about to throw his next punch a man grabbed his shoulder.

It was Lee!

Owen held his nose and his eyes darted around the café, looking at all the people in there who just sat and ignored what was going on.

They all looked away and that angered him. How could they just turn their backs on a young boy who was being beaten?!

Owen's eyes caught Mr Walsh at the door.

Mr Walsh looked at Owen and the thug. His blood boiled when he saw him daring to make Owen bleed.

However as soon as Lee placed his hand on the thug, he trembled.

"How dare you lay your hands on this young man in a public place such as this!"

Mr Walsh choose his words carefully as to not spill Owen's secret however the thug seemed to know that he was facing trial at this very moment!

And he had given them all the evidence to prove him guilty!

He quickly let go of Owen's shirt and turned to face them. He held his hands together and pleaded.

"Grandfather! Boss! This is nothing but a misunderstanding! You see I didnt know the boy was not who I had thought him to be!"

SMACK!

Lee struck the low level thug across the face.

Blood oozing from the corners of his lips and blood running down his red, slightly swollen cheek.

"How dare you call us that! You have no respect for yourself! You are nothing but a common street thug you do not have the honour to even call our surname!"

Only higher level bosses could even dream of calling Mr Walsh, great grandfather. People who were aloud to call him this were just barely acknowledged by him.

Lee on the other hand didn't even let his underlings call him boss!

At this moment the thug had disrespected them both with only one sentence!

He kneeled down in front of Mr Walsh and begged for mercy.

He seemed to understand that they were protecting Owen. To be given that kind of treatment from these elites you had to be someone special!

He held onto his trouser leg and cried.

"Please! Spare me! Sir please let me go I swear I will never harm the boy again. I thought he was someone else "

He trembled at his feet but Mr Walsh only looked at him coldly.

"I will let you go this once. But only because I have enough respect and decency for these people trying to enjoy their time here! "

He bowed many times to Mr Walsh.

"Yes. Yes! Thank you. Thank you."

"But if I ever catch you doing this again then I will not hesitate to kill you with my own hands!"

Even tho he was an old man in his seventies he terrified the cowardly man to his core. He even terrified everyone in the café with his overwhelming aura. Lee knew how serious Mr Walsh was being and even trembled slightly.

The only person not effected by his demeanour was none other than Owen.

The overjoyed moron ran out of the café as fast as his legs could go.
