Nothing Was Here First

As soon as the Oversoul had spoke like a flash of light and inspiration the explanation of a technique appeared in his mind.

Wo Shie began to look through the information he recieved and realized that this process was extremely similar to how he had discerned the information that had made him self up.

Yet this time the difficulty was a level higher the information detailed that the process would be extremely painful and one misstep could land him in his grave, but this was something he had to do.

Even if he died here, wouldn't that just mean less of a wait to see his lost loved ones again. And if he succeeded maybe one day he could achieve the unachievable.

Wo Shie steeled his resolve and continued to read and reared the information he had recieved until he was confident he had thoroughly memorized every step.

Once he felt comfortable with his memory of the information he sat down in lotus position with

His eyes closed and began the process of first separating from his divine universe tree.

For this process he had to know what and where every part of his divine universe tree truly was.

As far as figuring what it was, was simple enough for Wo Shie. However figuring out where was an entirely different beast.

It was almost as if this divine universe tree and his foundation weren't really physically residing within him, yet they were more of a bridge connecting him to another world.

As he continued to attempt uncovering more about the Where his divine universe tree was his mind began to be assaulted by pain. It was as if his brain had become surrounded by slowly moving needles attempting to pierce it in all directions.

Wo Shie Grit his teeth and persevered, according to the instructions once the process had begun it must be seen through to completion.

If stopped while incomplete, death was nothing but guaranteed, even if one did miraculously survive it would be as a vegetable with no conscious mind and a severely crippled cultivation.

Most people believed without your divine sea or without a foundation your cultivation was already crippled, yet here Wo Shie was abandoning both at the behest of someone calling themselves the Oversoul.

Still Wo Shie persevered slowly piercing the veil hiding where his divine universe tree resides. The closer he got to realizing where it was the more the pain increased.

In the pain Wo Shie lost track of time as the pain seemed to get exponentially stronger the closer he got as he began to feel himself lulling in and out of consciousness biting his tongue and letting out ocasional yelps and groans just to maintain his awareness.

The pain was so intense that his body began to twitch unconsciously as a completely numb feeling took over his body from the intense pain. He still felt the pain but it was as if the pain was going so deep within his soul that he and this agonizing feeling we're melding into one.

After an unknown amount of time Wo Shie could finally discern exactly where his divine universe tree was, he'd come to understand it as the spirit world but truthfully it was in its own dimension.

By locating the part of his inner self Wo Shie was now able to begin the next step, he now had to repeat this same process with his foundation.

This time rather than quickly understanding what exactly his foundation was made of, it was quite the complex material. It was ethereal and solid within the same observation.

It seemed to be made completely of nothing yet it's physical appearance contradicted that, but this made no sense to Wo Shie how could he have been crippled by cracks in something made of nothing.

The longer Wo Shie inspected attempting to understand his foundation the further the pain intensified around him by this point it felt like he was frozen solid in eternal ice while also being cooked over hellfire. The pain was excruciating but like a cold shower his body had slowly began becoming accustomed to this devastating pain.

Finally like struck by more inspiration it made sense to Wo Shie. If it seemed to be made up of nothing that's because it was, nothing was truly the foundation of all that exist.

"For something to be here, nothing was here first…" left the lips of Wo Shie without conscious effort.

Like the final block was pulled from beneath a towering building, the pain Wo Shie was experiencing intensified two fold as it came crashing down.

Within moments the pain felt like it was 10 times greater and increasing at an even higher rate, Wo Shie curled up in agony as he let out screams that went unnoticed by those outside of the oversouls domain.

Wo Shie's clothes had become drenched in sweat as blood trickled out his hands, eyes, mouth , nose and any other place blood could escape his body.

In one fell swoop he uncovered what and where his foundation were also revealing to him the location of his inner universe.

It wasn't just his inner universe but within the void his inner universe had also manifested resembling the birth of a new solar system. And his foundation was the nothing that existed here long before his inner universe.

But due to his divine universe tree taking root in his foundation the pain Wo Shie felt was a fate much worse than death. A gentle smile could be seen on the child's face while blood dropped from every part of his body as if he were waiting on the sweet embrace of death.

But to no avail, once he had become aware of the location and what his foundation and divine universe tree were, he could feel his divine universe tree being uprooted from his foundation and the pain continued to intensify. It was like he had crossed a barrier that shouldn't be crossed, yet in the same hand it seemed natural.
