Fang Ao reacted abruptly and vanished on the spot, leaving behind an afterimage.

He reappeared safely a couple of metres away. Without missing a beat, he retrieved a spear from his storage ring.

The weapon exuded a demonic, bloodthirsty aura as soon as it was revealed.

The spear was called Spirit Slayer. It wasn't Fang Ao's lifebound treasure, but it was one of the weapons he used the most.

"It seems your status as the leader of our small group of three reserve members has gotten into your head," he said coldly. "Let's fix that."

Elder Yi saw that her words were disregarded and frowned. But she did not attempt to make the peace a second time.

If they wanted to fight, then so be it. Secretly, she was rooting for Shen Li to kick Fang Ao's ass.

Meanwhile, Fang Ao injected a tremendous amount of his Qi into Spirit Slayer, and it started to exude a suffocating bloody aura that locked on to his opponent, overlapping with his own Qi Lock.
