Chapter 537-Meeting with the Goddess

Chapter 537

Dave looked at the uneasy Naga and patted her shoulders and said.

"Don't worry."

Naga nodded and she developed an instinctive trust in Dave and she felt that as long as he was here, nothing would happen.

Dave and Naga walked towards the white door and Dave pushed the door and a light blinded him and Naga and Dave saw a figure sitting on a throne and her face was covered with light.

Dave instantly recovered his vision and he wanted to see through the figure but he could not see anything in her status.

'As expected of a god figure, my level is low.'

Dave mumbled but Naga on the other hand was in a daze but Dave tapped her shoulders and she instantly awoke from her being in a daze.

"You are here."

A soothing voice entered Dave and Naga's ears but Dave could feel that something was wrong in her tone.

'Her voice sounds familiar.'

Dave could not pinpoint it but he ignored it for the time being.

"Greetings, Goddess of Light."

Naga bowed to the Goddess of Light in respect while Dave remained standing and didn't say anything.

"At ease."

The Goddess of Light waved her hands and she told Naga to raise her head.

Dave stepped up and he did not fear being in the face of a goddess.

As the Chaos God, he should not lower himself to others even if they were gods.

"What do you want? Why did you want to meet us?"

Dave asked directly.

Right now, he was still amazed because he felt that the figure in front of him could kill him directly but his intuition of danger was not activated so he believed that he would be safe for the time being and the Goddess of Light was not scheming against him.

"You are quite direct, should I call you holy son or Dave?"

She was calm and was not offended even though Dave didn't bow to show her respect.

Right now, her heart and mind were conflicted when she saw his figure.

She never thought that the guy who saved the desolate plane was the guy who was bugging her heart.

A handsome guy whom she happened to meet in the mortal world and even appeared in her dreams.

The guy who was forced to be with her in many lifetimes and they became husband and wife for all those lifetimes.

He cared for her and protected her even using his life just for her.

He appeared in front of her and he became more handsome than before and her heart was fluttering but she didn't show it.

'He must have already forgotten me.'

She felt sad and she didn't realize that her emotions were being affected.

'How is that possible? I am a being that is capable of doing anything so how can I be affected by it.'

She mumbled and those who enter the trial with them would forget what happened.

"Human, thank you for saving the human race when I was slumbering, I called you here to thank you personally."

She then revealed her goals in calling him and Dave waved his hands and said.

"It's okay, I am a human as well and it is my responsibility to help them."

"Are there any rewards?"

The Goddess of Light nodded and then said.

"There are rewards of course."

"You had done good deeds for the human race and had helped me keep the promise I made with the Human Emperor."

"Are you curious why I have not helped the human race against demons?"

Dave was curious about it as well so he replied.

"Mind if you tell us the reason?"

The Goddess of Light smiled and she told them the reason for her late appearance and the deal she made with Satan.

She also told them that the reason she was protecting the humans in the desolate plane was because she promised the Human Emperor to help them and protect them from being annihilated by other races.

Though she cannot protect them all, at least, she does her promise to not let them be annihilated.

Dave was now convinced that the Goddess of Light really wanted to help the human race but Satan had restricted her so she could only pin her hope if someone would help her and Dave had mysteriously appeared and disrupted the plan of Satan.

Dave nodded and he didn't harbor much hatred toward her but humans should have felt that the goddess had abandoned them.

Naga listened carefully but she didn't have the right to speak so she was only near Dave.

The Goddess of Light saw how Naga went to get close to Dave and she squinted her eyes and said.

"Princess Naga, come forward."

Naga was stunned but she looked at Dave who nodded at her and she followed the words of the Goddess.

"Goddess."

Naga bowed her head and the Goddess smiled but no one could see her face due to the light covering her.

"Princess Naga, you hold one of the creations of the Sword Goddess, from the looks of it, you have the right to go to the Sword Sky Temple."

Naga was shocked as she didn't expect the goddess would see through her but Dave was not surprised. After all, she was a God, a peak of strength in the universe, except for Dave, maybe she can see anything in Naga.

Naga and Dave were stunned and they were confused about the Sword Sky Temple but the Goddess explained.

"The Sword Sky Temple is the temple created by the Sword Goddess herself and she left a lot of sword techniques there and only those who have her mark can enter."

Naga was stunned and she looked at the mark on her hands where the sword was hiding and she realized that Dave also had a mark but from the looks of it, even the Goddess herself could not see it.

"So, you plan to send her to the Sword Sky Temple?"

Dave was still confused and they didn't even know how to go there.

The Goddess smiled and said.

"Naga, you have an incomplete mark so it means that the sword in your hands is an incomplete artifact but you need to travel there personally but don't worry, I will send someone to send you there and bring you back here after you finish entering the temple."

"This is one of my rewards to you because you also helped the human race."

Naga was stunned but she bowed and she was excited and grateful.

To have the right to enter the temple means, she had an opportunity.

"How long will it take for the travel?"

Dave asked curiously and the Goddess explained that it will take 2 weeks even if she acted personally.

The Celestial Plane is so wide that even Gods cannot cover it with their own powers.
