Dave, who was already inside Sandro's castle, was stunned, but he guessed that Sandro was now full of anxiety as his plan failed.

Dave had traveled for many hours to reach Earl Sandro's territory, where he conducted a preliminary investigation. He discovered that Sandro's territory was remarkably weak, lacking strong subordinates. This knowledge emboldened him to undertake a solo infiltration with little concern for personal safety.

He didn't know who Karl was, but he guessed it was one of Sandro's companions. 

Yes, he was right. Karl was a black-clothed man, and he became angry to know that two of his men died, which was a significant loss for his organization.

Dave would check how many sin points he gained later, but he still had a job to do.

He carried Draco until now, and he saw that the more he ate, the faster his growth became.

He could now enlarge himself to 4 meters, but he still couldn't fly, and he could also make himself smaller.

He was now the size of a cat, so he was cute, and Dave always pinched its cheeks.

He walked forward and saw many guards who were patrolling everywhere.

"Looks like he is anxious to strengthen their defense," he said.

Earl Sandro immediately ordered a tightening of security, fearing potential retaliation from the other party if the assassins revealed his involvement in the assassination attempt. The mere thought of the guardian learning about his role filled him with terror.

Dave was in Conceal mode, so he easily bypassed the guards. 

He saw a maid who was holding food and drinks, and he guessed that she must be coming toward Sandro's room.

He silently followed her, and she didn't even notice him.

She walked toward a room and opened it.

She saw Sandro looking at the window and said, "Lord, please take your food."

She bowed and then left the room.

Sandro ignored the maid, and his mind was chaotic right now.

Sandro muttered to himself, "What should I do? I never wanted to be involved in this, but I have no choice." He hoped fervently that the guardian would never find out that he was the one who had hired those assassins.

"Well, well, well, as expected of the Earl. He strengthened his defense when he failed to assassinate someone."

Dave said as he released his concealment.

Sandro was shocked, and as he was about to speak, his neck was already held by Dave.

"You know I hate someone plotting against me, and I will make them suffer."

Dave sneered as he thought, "Hehehe, a mere Earl wanted to hurt me? Hah, a fool's dream. Luckily, I was strong enough; otherwise, I might have died."

Dave squeezed his neck and said, "Why do you want to assassinate me? I know that you don't have the guts as you are just a weak Grandmaster."

Sandro is shocked by Dave's power, and it looks like his power was deliberately concealed to fool the enemy. 

At the age of 40, he was a Grandmaster. He had heard that Dave was also a Grandmaster, but he quickly realized that the gap between them was enormous, and he couldn't even put up a fight. In his heart, he cursed his fate, realizing that his end was near.

Sandro didn't answer and just looked at Dave, so he immediately released his skill <<Hypnotism >>.

"Hmm, since you don't want to answer, then don't blame me," Dave chuckled.

"Why do you want to kill me?" he asked.

Sandro's willpower was weak, and he easily entered a hypnotic state, losing control of his mind.

Sandro's face was blank, but he answered truthfully. "It was the mission given by the higher-ups of the Black Turtle Kingdom. They already want to get rid of you to prevent another strong figure in the future."

"They also heard that you have a dragon, so they made up their mind to kill you even if it was risky. I was the spy they planted in the Dragon Empire to monitor the happenings here and report to them."

Dave was stunned by his revelation, and he didn't expect them to be brave enough to send assassins to kill him.

He did not have a grudge against the Turtle Empire, but they still attacked and targeted him because of his talent. They feared that another guardian like Lucas might be born, and their hopes of rising would be thwarted once again.

Even though the world appeared peaceful and stabilized, the other empires continued to scheme against each other. The Dragon Empire, however, was confident in its strength and ready to wage war if any of the other empires made a wrong move.

He asked again, "Is the assassin I killed your man?"

Sandro replied, "No, they are from the Shadow House. They are a notorious organization that kills a target for money."

Dave asked where their base was, but Sandro didn't know, as they are very exclusive.

"Looks like I still didn't know many things about the Continent."

Dave used his hypnotism to remove his memory of him coming here.

Dave was satisfied with his answer, so he immediately knocked him out and stripped his clothes.

He carried him silently and then crippled his power and silently hung him on his gate.

He was sure that he would die after 30 minutes, as he didn't have power now and because Dave severely injured his organs.

He also posted all his documents on the wall to see his transactions in the Black Turtle Empire.

After that, he left silently and went back to his dorm.

It was now 10 p.m., so he just took a bath and rested.

He saw that he gained 15,000 sin points from Sandro and Karl.

He didn't know how many dangers lingered in the Empire, but he must become stronger faster to destroy them.

He couldn't always rely on his father, and he only needed more time to grow.

Even though he didn't have a grudge against them, they were still targeting him, so he remembered them in his heart.

He decided to rest for now. Dave carried Draco to his bed, and they slept together.
