Chapter 3 Fusion

The dragon felt relieved after hearing that but still didn't dare let his guard down.

He was the Dragon clan's elder, who was trusted by the patriarch of the dragon clan, also known as Dragon God. The reason, the elder himself was sent here was because the dragon clan dared not to take Alex lightly.

They knew Alex wasn't any Tom Dick Harry. He was the uncrowned king who protected human civilization from the dark. Also, the reason why the other races couldn't enslave humans.

Just as they both gazed at each other and showed their killing intent did Stephen, the dragon realised Alex had killed a lot more than him. He frowned, he was told a being who was not even near half the lifespan as him, had killed a lot more than him. This made his determination to kill Alex even more. He knew if Alex somehow survived today, he would be their first massive threat who could or may have enough power to bring his clan near death.

However, Alex wasn't wasting time and thinking about his last words. He had been stalling time for the fusion. The other races knew that Alex would be vulnerable during the fusion process. But they didn't know that, right as they were speaking, the fusion process was ongoing.

Alex thought of stats and a blue panel was displayed in front of him.

Seeing the status panel Alex couldn't help but smirk. Seeing the smirk on Alex's face dragon couldn't help, but think something was wrong.

The next instant, without any thought the dragon swung it's arm towards Alex. Lunged out of its way and the arms swayed past him. Smashing the gigantic rocks into dust.

The dragon used ice spear, it wasn't one nor was it two. it was a rain of ice spears. Alex couldn't counterattack and tried to doge the ones he could and defend the ones he couldn't doge. The fatigue Increased slowly but steadily.

Seeing Alex, the strongest human being, was helpless and couldn't fight back made the dragon sneer. The dragon said in a mocking tone "what the strongest human? The one could become a major threat to the dragon clan. hahaha....you, who couldn't even fight back against me, would be a threat to the dragon clan? Did those old dragons finally go senile."

Hearing this Alex roared in rage. If it wasn't for those traitors, Alex could kill the dragon. If it wasn't for his trust in his fellow humans, he wouldn't be betrayed. If only he didn't let his guard down in the banquet, he wouldn't be poisoned. But what was the use of it now?

The poison made Alex regress 1 tier, Alex who supposedly at myth tier had fallen back to Diamond tier. If it wasn't for him being poisoned, he could definitely take the dragon down.

Before fighting the dragon Alex had been fighting other races on his way. The mech which he used had also been destroyed after the fight with a pure noble blooded vampire.

While defending against the attacks he Alex thought "show battle mode stats and start count down.

A transparent panel appeared infront of Alex, at the top right of the panel it showed Alex's health and Eon. At the bottom it displayed the progress bar of fusion.

It was a battle against time. Would he survive till the end of the of the count down ?.

Seeing this Alex sighed, his actions slowed down after a sometime. Seeing Alex slow down the dragon thought Alex finally gave up. and was out of cards.

"Not the strongest among all but the Strongest among your species. I am Stephen, a pure blooded dragon acknowledge you, As the strongest human everborn. To kill you i shall use my strongest spell." The dragon said

"Who want the acknowledgement of a puny lizard" Alex snorted.

The dragon raged, being compared to a lizard was the greatest disrespect to dragons. Immediately, The dragon used his strongest spell the eighth circle spell Fire Tornado.

<[1 second until 100% fusion]>

A whirlpool immerged with Alex as the centre, sucking in all near by air and the flame buring with the pure intention of annihilation. While the spell hit Alex, he beforehand prepared a shield using his last bit of Eon energy.

While being inside the barrier and out of dragons perception. He used his WAT(world affecting trait) once a being reached myth tier it would gain a WAT. The trait Alex has gained and use was [Time Stop]. Now the question being if he could stop time why not stop it and escape? The reason to this was simple yet nind numbing, he has two WAT one being Time Stop, while other being [Clairvoyance]. He had foreseen the result of his battle till the moment he perfectly fused with Primordial Origin Code. He still to the risked and fought was because, he would escape while being away from dragons perception making it seem like he died without a trace left of him.
