Ling Xue

After reading the fundamentals of cultivation, he went on to read the remaining books with important information. They contained details about alchemy, formations, and numerous things he had never seen or thought existed.

His mind was entirely focused on learning more about the world, and after some time, only one book remained from all that Li Yuemei had given him.

The book was titled 'Secrets of the Physiques,' the one Li Yuemei had given him earlier, mentioning it held better information about special physiques.

He picked up the book, hoping to find something that would help him understand his situation.

At the beginning, it said, 'This book is recommended for those who want to know more about physiques, but mainly for those who possess one. Based on all the physiques I have studied, including my own, I decided to write this book to help those lost about what to do.'

He read what the author had written at the beginning and became interested; perhaps he would find something genuinely useful in this book.

Then he read about the only three known types of physiques in the world: Spiritual, Terrestrial, and Celestial. He learned about the phenomena at birth and explanations of some of the most well-known physiques that had appeared a few times before.

There was a list of spiritual and terrestrial physiques and their ranks in terms of potential and strength. However, such a list didn't exist for celestial physiques. Celestial physiques were far above the others, and very few were recorded to know which one was more powerful than the others.

It was extremely rare for the same celestial physique to appear twice. The author noted that only five known celestial physiques had surfaced more than once in this world. Due to this rarity, those physiques were described in more detail in the book.

The book listed a few known celestial physiques, with eight having names and explanations, and others without revealing their names. Only the bearer of the celestial physique would know its name. For those without names in the book, their owners had long gone, taking their true names with them.

The author explained that, as a bearer of a celestial physique, he found it disrespectful to create a name for these physiques without knowing for sure what they were called. Thus, the author left them nameless but provided interesting information about these physiques and their known powers.

The young man in the cave was reading with great interest. It was an entirely new thing for him, and each physique he read about fascinated him. He wondered how his own physique worked and whether he could perform the same feats described in the book.

Finally, he reached the end of the book.

In the final part, it explained how bearers of celestial physiques cultivated. The book stated that, unlike weaker physiques and ordinary people, cultivation techniques didn't work for them.

As soon as celestial physiques were born, they had their first awakening. At that moment, their affinity was already awakened, and they didn't need to wait until the Inborn Affinity realm to know which path they would follow.

After the first awakening, their bodies were transformed to achieve the best synergy with the affinity, making them much stronger than others, even as children.

Following this, they had to find their own way of cultivating. The book mentioned that the bearer of the celestial physique would discover it at some point. Some people experienced visions like memories that told them about it, while others understood it through different means. The author couldn't conclude how people found out, but all bearers eventually discovered it.

Then the last lines of the book arrived.

'Those with special physiques are geniuses, especially those with celestial physiques. The talent and potential of these individuals are practically limitless. I tried to find an explanation for why these physiques appear, but I was unsuccessful.'

'If you are one of them, know that despite everything, you and your physique are one being. So, if you don't know everything about it yet, one day you will find out. Don't worry.'

'Besides, I feel that celestial physiques are not the pinnacle of power for physiques. I met a person who had a physique much superior to all other celestials. It couldn't be that his physique was only at that level. He departed from this world a long time ago, and now it's time for me to leave too. If I ever return, I will write more about my studies on physiques.'

In the young man's mind, numerous thoughts and pieces of information surfaced. Although he was a bit confused, he felt better than ever.

The young man sighed lightly, with a cold breath, as he slowly opened his eyes. Then he spoke softly and involuntarily.

"Ling Xue."

"What?" A voice suddenly spoke next to him.

He looked ahead, and a beautiful young woman with red eyes and hair was standing a few meters away, observing him attentively.

"My name… is Ling Xue," he replied a bit strangely.

'Ah, you finally chose a name? Well, Ling Xue really suits you,' she said, nodding.

"So? Interesting, right?" Li Yuemei asked, smiling at him while pointing to the book.

"Yes, truly very interesting. Now I understand more about physiques. When was this book written?" he asked.

"Hmm, I think a few thousand years ago."

"And this Astro guy never came back?"

"No, new special physiques have appeared, but the book was never updated. Still, forces still use them because Astro was truly a genius, and his information is valuable to this day for everyone. His book contains the best explanations."

"Astro never returned, wherever he went." Li Yuemei replied.

"So, did you find anything useful for your physique?" she asked.

"Yes," he said as a pure ice ball appeared in his hand, which soon transformed into an ice snake and then into various other forms.

After entering that special state, the name Ling Xue, along with various other information, was suddenly thrown into his mind, and he still needed to organize his thoughts.

He then turned to Li Yuemei and said, "I think it's time to leave this cave. We'll leave tomorrow morning."
