Emergency

The two elders went on guard due to the unknown sound.

"This sounds like a heartbeat, coming from the central part. There seems to be something seriously wrong with the Frozen Abyss," Elder Zhang said solemnly.

"Elder Zhang, gather the disciples in the outer area and get them out of the Frozen Abyss. The test will be postponed until we figure out what's going on," Elder Xu said seriously.

"Send a message to the master of the sacred land, tell them to bring reinforcements. I have a bad feeling," Elder Xu added.

"Alright," Elder Zhang said as he flew rapidly toward the outer area.

His ring glowed slightly as a strange cube appeared in his hand.

The elder released his Qi into the cube with his mental energy while saying in his mind, "All disciples of the sacred land, stop what you're doing immediately and gather outside the outer area as quickly as possible."

After saying this, he let out a loud whistle.

After a few moments, a small eagle appeared, its feathers completely white with occasional flashes of Qi.

"Little Pil, go to the sacred land as quickly as possible and tell them there's a rank 4, maybe 5, emergency."

Elder Zhang said as he handed a paper-like object that seemed to be on his arm to the eagle.

The eagle opened its mouth, and the letter was completely absorbed.

It let out a sharp chirp and flapped its wings, small thunders appearing in its feathers as the eagle disappeared from Elder Zhang's sight.

Elder Zhang then began to fly rapidly in a specific direction.

In the outer area, all the disciples heard a voice in their minds.

Li Yuemei was approaching the inner part of the Frozen Abyss and became confused after hearing the voice of an elder in her mind.

"Tsk, I was almost there; the Qi here is much stronger. If I got closer, I could definitely break through to the next realm."

Indecision arose in her mind; if she went back, she wouldn't be able to break through this time. But if an elder said everyone should leave, there was probably a significant unknown danger in this place.

After pondering for a moment, she sighed, "It's no use taking risks. I could break through in any case later; it will just take longer. I don't need to take this risk." While thinking, she felt someone approaching.

She looked up and saw a middle-aged man in black clothes rapidly approaching.

"Princess, there are movements in the inner area and probably the central area of the Frozen Abyss. You can no longer stay in this place; come, I'll take you to the exit," Elder Zhang said after finding Li Yuemei near the inner area.

'Just as Elder Xu said, she was really going to the inner area. I don't know if she's foolish or just very confident in her strength,' Elder Zhang thought as he used his Qi to make Li Yuemei levitate toward him.

The two then flew toward the exit of the outer area of the Frozen Abyss.

On the way, Li Yuemei began to ask out of curiosity.

"Elder, what's happening? Is it going to snow? I see no other reason to suspend the test like this; it wouldn't happen if it weren't for something of that level."

"No, we have no way of knowing when it will snow in this place. Something happened in the Frozen Abyss; we're considering it a Rank 4 emergency. The Thunder Eagle has already been sent to the sacred land. Reinforcements will arrive in a few days, so we'll find out what's happening," the elder replied seriously.

'A Rank 4 emergency? Then maybe my father will come...' Li Yuemei thought.

At the edge of the inner area, Elder Xu was still standing, observing while listening to that sound in his mind.

'Thump, thump.'

'Thump, thump.'

"Could there be something alive in the central area? No, that's impossible; nothing survives in that place. Even individuals in the quasi-Transcendence Realm who tried to enter that place never returned," Elder Xu said solemnly.

While thinking, he heard various sounds in the distance, like a crowd running.

"What's this?"

"Beasts, the beasts, are fleeing from the inner area."

"This won't be good; if these beasts leave the Frozen Abyss, it will be a huge problem."

Elder Xu became worried seeing so many beasts running in fear; if they left their habitat, it wouldn't be good at all.

The two flew quickly, and with the elder's strength, they arrived outside the outer area of the Frozen Abyss after a few hours.

As soon as they descended from the sky and landed on the ground, about twenty disciples appeared.

"Elder and Princess." The disciples bowed slightly, expressing their respect.

"Hmm, are you all already here?" The elder asked with a strange expression; it had only been a few hours since he had told them to gather, and there were already so many.

A buck-toothed boy took two steps forward and began speaking.

"Yes, Elder, two days after we entered the Frozen Abyss, we all felt the climate getting colder and colder, to the point that most of us couldn't endure it even using our Qi."

"So, we returned and stayed close to the exit," he said with a disappointed face.

After what the disciple said, the elder entered the abyss again and then realized

"Indeed, the cold is much greater than usual. I didn't notice because this cold doesn't affect me."

"Princess Li Yuemei, didn't you notice the changes in the outer area?" The elder asked curiously.

"No, even though I felt the cold increasing constantly, I thought it was normal as I was going deeper into the abyss."

"Alright, how many of you are still inside?"

"There are still seven, Elder," the buck-toothed boy replied.

"Alright, I'll go get them."
