Primordial Eyes

Jone, when he lived on earth, was a handsome young man who, for traumatic reasons as a child, lived in his locked house, living melancholically. Because he was blind in both eyes, he felt he would never see the beautiful side of life. And because of that, he made no effort to do anything and deeply regretted it. When he died and woke up in the body of a fifteen-year-old boy in another world where powerful cultivators, mystical beings, and divine races lived, he decided to live his new life as he wanted and without regrets. Right when he woke up, he discovered that in this new world, his eyes were now special, they carried great powers but were extremely difficult to control, and they had great seals that locked away something that this world had long forgotten. Jone fell into the water while the body of the giant worm was being devoured; he quickly moved away from where he fell because the worm's green acid was in the water.

The worm was a beast in the final stage of the Qi Foundation realm, but it had recently advanced, so its strength was only in the 7th stage of the realm.

In a matter of moments, Jone broke through.

'4° stage of the Qi Foundation realm.'

Only a third of the worm's energy had been used because Jone was close to that realm.

After the entire worm was devoured, Jone broke through again.

'5th stage of the Qi Foundation realm.'

Then, as the hundreds of eggs began to be devoured, the energy in his dantian increased again.

Jone felt that the strength of the worms in the eggs was only at the beginning of Qi condensation. With so many eggs, Jones cultivation reached the end of the 5th stage of the realm and would break through again soon.

Jone, who was in the murky water, suddenly surfaced.

"Damn, I forgot that the worm would disappear as soon as I devoured it."

"This water is the nastiest thing I've ever seen; I have to get out of this place urgently."

He then looked around the underground cave and saw a spot a little further away where he could stand.

Jone swam quickly in that direction, passing by the bodies of rotting beasts in the water.

He realized that his eye did not devour these beasts, probably because they no longer had any vital energy.

In moments, Jone reached the end of the lake where there were rocks where he could stand, and he climbed up quickly.

"Disgusting. I can't stand this smell"

Jone said as he exited the lake.

He then checked his strength and clenched his fist, feeling his new power.

"Well, despite everything, it was worth descending into this place. I broke through twice and will soon break through to the 6° stage."

"This is much faster than I imagined; it's time to go."

He said this as two claws emerged from his hands.

Jone began to climb the cave wall again as he ascended to the ceiling, the only exit he had found was the way he came.

Jone quickly reached the hole in the ceiling and exited the place.

*************************

Four days had passed since he left the cave at the waterfall. Jone had cleaned himself and returned to his divine appearance.

After hunting beasts for these days, his cultivation broke through again and reached the 6° stage of the Qi Foundation realm.

At this moment, Jone was in a state of compression, trying to achieve perfection in some of his techniques but giving up without success.

"Tsk, it really won't be that easy; I've already reached advanced mastery in all the techniques I've learned, even the Blood Destruction technique, but it seems like I really lack something to achieve perfect mastery."

"It's been almost two whole weeks since I left the city and a little over a month since I left the sect."

"I have to reach at least the 9° stage of the Qi Foundation realm in a month and a half to be able to protect myself when I go to the ravine."

Jone thought he would return to the sect in six months, only in the True Qi realm, but he didn't expect his cultivation to increase so quickly.

He thought he could easily achieve that. Jone wanted to get stronger quickly, and his eyes allowed for that.

'I haven't slept for a few days; I'm tired. I'll sleep tonight and resume hunting tomorrow morning.'

Jone thought as he found a good tree to sleep under tonight.

As the first rays of sunlight appeared, Jone heard something and quickly got up.

He looked in one direction and saw a fight happening.

"Oh, there are people in this place today." It was the first time he had seen people since he entered deeper into the mountain of beasts.

Jone saw a small group of people; there were ten young people who seemed to be eighteen years old, eight boys and two girls, all dressed alike in the attire of some sect.

Leading the group was an old man with a strange black bird on his shoulder.

They were fighting with a large tiger in the middle of the Qi Foundation realm.

The old man was just watching as five of the young people fought the beast.

Jone found it interesting and observed these people; he didn't see these clothes in the city, and the only sect on this island was the Demon Horn sect.

Jone then imagined that these people would be from another nearby demonic branch; the mountain of beasts was one of the famous places in the fifty demonic islands, and many people from other islands came to this place.

*************************

"I will defend your next attack, quickly kill the tiger in the next attack!" A muscular young man with two meters of height exclaimed as his axe met the tiger's claws.

"Okay!!"

The others spoke as they quickly prepared their swords, and soon a coordinated attack cut the tiger's throat, which fell lifeless to the ground.

"Hmm, good, you did a good job, let's…" The old man, who began to speak, suddenly felt a chill in his body as if he were being watched by a terrible beast. He didn't finish what he was going to say.

He quickly went on guard while drawing his sword and looking in the direction of a tree a little way off.
