Primordial Eyes

Jone, when he lived on earth, was a handsome young man who, for traumatic reasons as a child, lived in his locked house, living melancholically. Because he was blind in both eyes, he felt he would never see the beautiful side of life. And because of that, he made no effort to do anything and deeply regretted it. When he died and woke up in the body of a fifteen-year-old boy in another world where powerful cultivators, mystical beings, and divine races lived, he decided to live his new life as he wanted and without regrets. Right when he woke up, he discovered that in this new world, his eyes were now special, they carried great powers but were extremely difficult to control, and they had great seals that locked away something that this world had long forgotten. Memoirs (1)

Jone felt like he had spent dozens of years wandering in nothingness until he finally felt like he could move somehow, and then he slowly opened his eyes.

Lying on the ground with his chest up, a light that he didn't even remember existed appeared in his eyes, a light blue sky with some clouds was in front of him.

Jone stood frozen for a few moments, wondering if he was dreaming, but not even in his dreams did he see such a beautiful sky.

"I died?"

Jone then felt a pain in the center of his head. He closed his eyes, and fragmented memories came to his mind.

In these memories, Jone saw Zhang Jun, a boy who looked to be around fifteen years old.

He lived in a destroyed house, without doors and falling apart, on the outskirts of a small town. He only had his mother as a relative.

When he was a child, he saw a group of people flying through the sky at high speed, and he thought it was the most incredible thing he had ever seen. Then a dream was born in his heart, and he swore to himself that one day he would become a great cultivator.

But things were not as he imagined. When Zhang Jun turned twelve, he had his first frustration, in his city, there were almost no cultivators, and those that existed were from rich families in the city who would never divulge their cultivation methods to outsiders.

Even so, he tried to join some of the biggest families in the city, they held auditions for outsiders to have a chance to join the family every few years to find possible talents among the trash to increase the strength of their families.

When Zhang Jun participated in the tests, he discovered that he was worse than trash; he was born with his dantian damaged and that he could not feel the energy of heaven and earth in his life; he was a complete cripple.

In this world where strength is above all and being a cripple is even worse than being an ordinary mortal, at least mortals could one day have the chance to cultivate.

With his dantian damaged, his dream of becoming a cultivator was completely destroyed.

At the age of thirteen, his mother contracted a rare disease, but it was curable for those who had money and even more so for cultivators. He asked several doctors in the city for help but was always expelled from the place.

No doctor would help for free, strength is above all in the world of cultivators, but money is the greatest strength for mortals.

To cultivators, mortals they were like ants, just like to these rich doctors, Zhang Jun was simply another poor person who existed everywhere. Because someone would help you without getting anything in return.

Zhang Jun tried anyway to save his mother, but after three months in bed, she finally passed away.

Zhang Jun cried for a whole night. When the first rays of sunlight began to appear, he got up, wiped his tears, and spoke to his mother in bed.

"I swear I won't give up, I will become an immortal no matter what I have to do, and I will live a life where those I love don't die for lack of strength or money." Zhang Jun spoke with determination in his eyes.

"Just watch me from above, mom, I'll make you proud of me."

So he buried his mother and left the city when the sun was fully in the sky.
