The more he looked at the surrounding battles, the more likely was his assumption that everyone was trying to hold back.
In some cases, this was the smartest move one could make, however, most of the time it caused someone to lose needlessly while sustaining injuries that could have been prevented.
Shane was not a fan of holding back, but he saw the need to hide certain unique abilities. Revealing everything at once would allow the strongest opponents one would fight later to be vigilant and fully prepared, making them lose on the element of surprise.
Despite perceiving the entire situation, Shane had decided that it was the best for him to reveal everything.
To be precise, he had already done so, and there wasn't much that opponents who observed him vigilantly didn't know anyway.
However, in comparison to before, Shane decided to modify the plan he had initially wanted to pursue.
