Nathan's Symphony [Pt 1]
" We'll meet tomorrow then. I'll have my answer then." Talia said.
[Back at Talia's Place]
Nathan sat on a chair, a large table was in front of him and he was in a room that passed for a dining room.
He was flicking the table with his fingers in boredom when Talia's mum Mia walked in.
He halted and had a look of discomfort.
" And who are you to Talia?" She asked and took a seat, she pushed forward her face towards him making him even more uncomfortable.
" Let's say I'm a temporary partner." He said with a wry smile.
" Ohhh, as adventurers or travelers?"
" Hmmm....both."
" Well ok, do well to watch over her, I won't forgive you if she dies in your watch."
" Hmmn... Yes!" He said in a pitched tone.
" Alright, I'll be depending on you." She returned a broad smile.
' I know Talia told me to stay put but I feel like I'll die here if I stay any longer'
