Nathan's Growth [Pt 2]

 " It's your turn Wyser." I said with my blade up pointing at him. The noble that had a bewildered face now smirked. Was he looking down on me because I'm human even though I had taken care of more of his guards? Yes, most likely. The Fairies are a foolish and pompous lot.

 I swung my blade twice, I made a horizontal slash and then a vertical one. He struck forward his arm and then a large blast of light, one larger than any that I have ever seen escaped from his hand, he raised it so casually and such a large output of power occurred.

 The blast consumed my strikes and most of the passage. I had to leap into the floor above to escape the strike, I broke through its floor.

 I ran forward and broke my way back down to where I suspected Wyser was and there he was, he didn't move from his spot and he looked at me from below. I gripped my blade's hilt and drove my sword down.
