Time passed in a blink of an eye and two years have elapsed.

However, during these years, Nick was like in hell. He had never thought that the core region or the center of the forest will have so many strong beasts that he had never encountered before.

His life was on the line most of the time and he had to do everything he can just to run away from them. What was even more frustrating is that most of the beast are very agile while some can even traverse the long distance in an instant, the same as his skill [Blink].

Nick had grown taller now that he had turn thirteen, his black hair was still the same as, pointy and messy. His eyes were getting more and deeper in black as it now had become even more hard to resist looking at him.

In this years, his body had adapted to the harsh environment where he had to stay vigilant the whole time and will only be able to sleep for about an hour or so. It was very hard at first but his body started to adapt at it like it was the natural thing to do.

He can sense that he was getting stronger and stronger as time passed by, he was also getting more proficient in controlling his elements as he was now able to freely manipulate and control fire, water, and wind.

Nick also found out that when he is in his fire form, where is hair and eye colors are both red which signifies that he is controlling fire. His normal attacks will contain some burning effects, even his body temperature will increase.

Fortunately, though, his clothes will not melt which is a mystery to him since they are only ordinary ones.

In his Water form, his movements are smoother and his reflexes are also enhanced greatly. While in his Wind form, his movement speed is increased and he can also control the air around him to make himself fly.

He had tried it before and it had not ended will at his very first try, he almost ended up becoming a beast's meal since he was flying straight to its mouth.

But he did achieve his goal on coming to this forest as he had become stronger, so strong that he can even battle multiple beasts in the core region at the same time. He did not kill them though since killing them would disrupt the balance in nature and it may cause some chaos.

Seated on a log, while in front of him was large meat being grilled to a golden-red flame, Nick had a smile on his face.

Today will be the day that he would be returning and he is very excited to meet with Mirajane, Lisanna, and Elfman. He is especially excited to see Mira, imagining that she must have grown up to become quite a beauty.

Nick then brought the meat in front of him and smelled it, "It smells good!"

After that, he began to eat like a barbarian, biting in large pieces while chewing it only for a moment and directly swallowing it. Some beast can be seen from a distance, staring at him but visible on their eyes is fear that one can only see to a servant looking at its king.

Nick was unofficially crowned as the king of the forest after he had defeated all the strongest beasts in the core region. And since there was already nothing to defeat, that is why he had decided to go home.

Several minutes later, he had already finished eating but Nick can be seen standing in an open field. The grasses on this field were only a knee tall and did not really obstruct his vision, not as it can even obstruct it.

He is going to try one last time, even though he had already failed over a hundred times, Nick did not want to give up that easily as it will be very beneficial for him.

Nick stumbled upon a way on how to teleport from a beast he had fought before. And ever since that time, he had always been trying to figure out the way on how to actually do it. But every time he did so, he will only either blink or shot some sort of black hole that will devour anything in a second before disappearing.

He had almost lost his life thrice from using this technique but he did not want to give up as this skill can be used to protect his loved ones. If he is in a different place and they are in danger, he can always teleport to their location to protect them.

That is why he is very bent over to learn this skill. Clearing his mind of any thoughts, he began to gather ethernano from his surroundings and gather it on one point. He then began to compress all of this ethernano at that point.

He then created a small circle which is similar to his [Space Storage] but was completely different. Nick then put the compressed ethernano inside the small circle. As it enters the circle, there was some small friction between the two of them as the compressed ethernano refuses to go in the small circle.

After a few minutes of coaxing the compressed ethernano, it had finally entered the small circle. But it can be seen that it was violently trembling, ready to explode at any moment.

Nick had never made it this far, he thought that the heavens must be favoring him knowing that he will be leaving soon. He then shot the small circle forward but something completely unexpected happened.

It had exploded right in front of his face, although he had already guessed that it would explode any minute, he had never thought that it would explode the moment he tried to move it.

He can only blame himself for being such a stupid person from not actually maintaining his distance from the ball. After it explodes, it didn't actually cause an explosion rather, it transformed into a 4-meter tear on air that began to suck everything towards it.

Nick was also not spared as he was literally in front of it, he was not prepared from the suction, luckily, he had great reflexes as he immediately used [Bind] to keep himself on the ground.

He thought that it would be enough but who thought that the ground beneath him would be scooped out and was sucked towards the tear. Now that he had bound himself with vines stronger and harder than any metals, what was supposed to help him now turned into something that causes his demise.

Nick could only close his eyes and accept his fate, strangely, he was not afraid of death which is supposed to be the first thing that one should feel during this time.

-I wonder how is Mira doing? Does she still have her smile? I really missed her. Lisanna must have become a beautiful girl like her sister. Is Elfman still the timid boy as he is?

Nick was then sucked into the tear which his fate will be unknown. The tear then disappeared after it had sucked in Nick and the surrounding calmed down as the tear had never appeared before.

The beasts that saw the tear sucking everything even the king was shivering from the fright.
