Now all they had to do was buy time until reinforcements got to them. The vampire riding the carriage looked at them strangely but ignored them nonetheless.

She walked to the door of the carriage and opened it. A red haired beauty got down from the carriage with her bow aimed at the four barbarians. They all sensed she was on their level, so they felt a bit confident.

"You should leave now. This is Barbarian territory, bloodsucker." Garr yelled

Once again, Ana looked at the little boys (though they were all taller than her) and still ignored them. Another woman got out of the carriage. She was tall and stunning; she had a beautiful smile on her face as she stared at them, or rather, at Julius. They were so confused, but she turned in the direction of the hole and jumped in.

"Is she crazy?" Ragnar said, and they all looked at him weirdly, 'Didn't you just do the same thing an hour ago?' They all thought

Wings of blood formed as Tenebrea descended into the hole. It was not actually just a hole but rather a hive like network linking to each other. She flew for about 5 minutes until she reached her destination. In front of her was her power orb.

The reason the worms settled down here was for the orb, as they fed off of it and became draco worms from just ordinary desert worms. She sat down with the orb and started to absorb it. Her rank started to rise from the peak of blue rank into red rank, and it finally settled on an intermediate red rank. It took her 15 minutes to rise in rank. She got up with a stretch and bolted in the direction she came .

Twenty minutes after Tenebrea jumped in, the Barbarians appeared and surrounded Ana and Scarlet.

"What are vampires looking for in Barbarian territory?" Vollen spoke

"Let's just kill them," Julius's father said. He was a tall barbarian with scars all over his body. He was also the head of the military forces.

"Calm down, Boor," Ragnar's father said. He felt that Julius and his father were quite different.

"We didn't come here for trouble. We just came to investigate a phenomenon. We would leave immediately we are done." Ana said she was trying to prevent conflict with the barbarians. She could sense four gold ranked beings, twenty purple-ranked beings, and the rest being red ranked. If this clan were sent to the Gregorian continent, they would destroy it in less than a year. The vampires had five gold ranked beings in their castle; there were more, but when Tenebrea woke up, they tried to rebel, so she destroyed them.

"What was so important that the vampires sent a gold rank being for protection? Or rather, should I say who?" Floyd's father looked the oldest among the four. He was a buff old barbarian.

Hearing the old man's speculation, Ana's aura increased, and she had a guard up. Nothing could happen to her queen, even if it meant giving her life.

All of a sudden, a blond vampire flew out of the hole in the ground. She hovered in the air with her red pupils, staring at everyone. They were all surprised because the teens had said that a blond vampire at peak blue rank went in, but now it was a vampire at intermediate red rank that flew out.

"Kids, are you sure she was at the peak blue rank when she went in?" Vollen asked

" I swear, Dad, she was " Garr was flabbergasted

Floyd's father saw how respectful the gold-ranked woman was to the flying blonde. He wanted to attack her to avoid any future trouble, but the way she smiled at him gave him goosebumps.

"You look like Ajax." The blonde woman spoke as she stared at Floyd's father.

Floyd's father trembled as he heard that, and so did the other barbarians.

"How do you know my great-grandfather's name?" Floyd's father spoke in confusion

"Oh, Ajax was a friend when I was the queen before I went into hibernation," Tenebrea said nonchalantly

Floyd started to say something really low, but everyone else heard him.

"The queen of the bloods

Innocently dabbed in blond

Do not make her wrathful

As she fought the one who is god,"

That was a bedtime story parents told their children on the Daemon continent, but in the Barbarian clan, Ajax made sure they understood it just wasn't a story before he died. He explained that the queen of the vampires was a strong being that should not be offended.

Floyd's father stared in fear at the woman hovering in front of them.

"You are…"

"Meet her majesty, the conqueror who demolished several clans on the Daemon continent, the one who fought her maker, the sovereign, Tenebrea."

Ana and Scarlet had reverence in their eyes, while the barbarians were shocked, apprehensive, and also fearful.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to conquer or anything. I lost something in this hole five thousand years ago, so I'm back to take it now that I have it. I will leave."

The barbarians heaved a sigh of relief. They were a very strong clan, but if they went to war with the vampires, eighty percent of their clan would be wiped out.

"Oh, right before I leave, I have one request." Tenebrea said with a smile.

The barbarians started to get nervous again, as they didn't know what this woman was thinking.

"What is it, Queen Tenebrea?" Vollen asked

"Can I have him?" She pointed at Julius.

They were confused as to who she was asking for, so they traced the path of her fingers and saw it was Julius she pointed at while Julius's mind was racing

"Me??? Why me???"
