Chapter 53:  A Back Seat Driver

A Seedy Motel, Unknown City, Unknown State...

The sudden cool wetness of rain had gotten Dr. Hadrian Rawsone's attention as he found himself standing in the parking lot of a seedy motel. He had not been alone as amid the falling rain he could make out a petite blonde wearing a tight-fitting red dress that rode up her thighs and her hair was soaked from the water. She reeked of booze, a good deal of booze if Hadrian had been honest and seemed to lean against and touch him a lot. She had a seductive look in her eyes but Hadrian had not been interested in what she had in mind as she led him toward the room where she had the key in her hand. Her lips were red and puckered as she looked him over running her hands along his trousers and he felt her squeeze his already aroused cock before opening the door. Against his will, his legs moved catching her up by the door and pressing her against it via his body as his cock seemed to have a mind of its own rubbing up against her bent backside as she made a show of unlocking the door.

Hadrian was horrified to take note of his body accompanying the drunken blonde in the red dress and what implication it held for him due to his marriage. He attempted to put a stop to it but his body ignored him the moment they stepped inside and his arms scooped her into his embrace as their lips crashed together as she clung to him, he could feel her legs wrapped tightly around his waist as he carried her toward the bed.

He still had his wedding ring on, but the blonde didn't seem to care as she made short work of taking off her dress and tossing it aside along with the red lace panties that accompanied the outfit. He felt himself get undressed as one by one each article of his chosen attire for the evening had disappeared until he was standing before her as naked as the day he was born and his treacherous cock like steel as it stretched out before her bewildered face.

She had not expected him to be so massive in size as her eyes were wide with shock before she smirked and spread her legs wide as she lay back against the mattress. He heard himself give a snide remark about her meeting "King Richard" and felt the sensation of her slowly being impaled as she gasped and clung to him.

"Fuck..." she moaned.

"Fuck is right." growled the voice that had not come from Hadrian Rawsone.

{"A condom."} he said terrified as he realized the implications of what had just happened even though he found himself enjoying the heat that surrounded him. {"Use a fucking condom if you're gonna be this reckless." }

Hadrian found himself largely ignored as the hiss from his lips drowned out his thoughts before a random voice seemed to acknowledge him.

{"Where is the fun in that?"}

Hadrian was caught off guard, but only for a moment as his hips began to thrust into the pelvis of the blonde who had been spread before him. Despite the sensation he felt, he had no real control over his body as it seemed to act of its own accord in bedding the strange blonde as she clung to him moaning in his ear and hissing from the pressure of being stretched beyond her limits as the unknown fiend, who had control over the good doctor Hadrian's body had his way.

There was a definite lapse in time as Hadrian found himself unable to see or hear what was happening for a good deal of time before he was suddenly standing before a mirror with a cigarette in his mouth and fresh clothes on his eyes were darker than normal and there was malicious intent behind his eyes.

It unnerved Hadrian to no end to see the man staring back at him had been similar in appearance, but cold and cynical in his outlook.

"You must hate me," he said in the same cold tone Hadrian had heard somewhere before. "Because I've hated you for years...sadly you've forgotten who I am and I don't have the time to remind you...I've got an appointment to keep."

Hadrian sensed that he would be back to being surrounded by darkness and lose another lapse in time, but the man ignored him walking away from the mirror and out into the cold world without a care for whom he had hurt in the process.

The man with Hadrian Rawsone's face climbed into a car that was parked outside the motel room and took off to another place that Hadrian found that he could not follow despite his best efforts to try.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" shouted Hadrian amid the darkness as he sank to what he believed to have been a floor of cascading water, but it didn't soak him or wet his skin. The blackness and the water seemed to move about as if he had not even been there.

A faint sound had gotten the despairing man's attention and he followed it until he came across a small boy familiar in appearance, but quiet nonetheless.

"Hey..." said Hadrian cautiously alerting the boy, who had been oblivious up until this point, of his approach.

The boy seemed startled as he nearly leaped out of his skin at the very sight of him.

"GET AWAY FROM ME LONNIE!" he shouted and began to take off down the winding dark paths that seemed to spring up from nowhere despite the constant water.

"Hey!?" shouted Hadrian in confusion. "I don't know anyone named Lonnie!"

"Y-You stay away Lonnie." said the boy terrified. "You can't trick me again, I won't let you!"

Hadrian sighed as he lost sight of the little boy and was once more surrounded by the darkness of the strange world he found himself awakening into.

"I don't know anyone named Lonnie!" he shouted annoyed at his situation and the fact that he had been left with more questions than answers about what was happening to him.

As Hadrian sank back down into the wetness that surrounded him, he felt helpless and lost in this place. It began to rain and the darkness faded into an eerie gray color prompting the hidden boy to make himself known.

He cautiously approached the saddened Hadrian with a curious expression.

"You aren't Lonnie," he said shocked. "He can't make it rain here."

Hadrian looked at the boy and noted his hazel eyes.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you," he said clearly weary. "I don't know Lonnie and I don't know where this place even is."

The boy looked at him for a moment before what appeared to be pity was reflected across his semi-darkened face.

"You know Lonnie...you just don't remember him," he said evenly. "Adrian made sure you didn't remember him, but that gets us all nowhere."

Up close, Hadrian seemed to recognize the school uniform suit the boy wore.

"I went to that school," he said aloud.

"I know." replied the boy. "We all did."

Hadrian thought it odd the way the boy spoke and that he implied that he knew Lonnie and someone called Adrian for that matter.

"That's enough Rian." said a booming voice from beyond the grey of the strange place that surrounded them. "Begone with you."

The boy simply vanished and once more Hadrian had been alone.

As Hadrian got back to his feet, he felt an odd sense of familiarity that surrounded him in this grey place.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"That is none of your concern." replied the voice. "You've allowed him to lock you out this time."

"What are you talking about?" asked Hadrian confused. "Allowed who to lock me out and of what did they lock me out of?"

"I shall have to wait until he becomes vulnerable again." continued the voice as if Hadrian had not said a thing. "Of course, it doesn't help that you've given him power this time!"

"Who have I given power to!?" asked Hadrian now even more upset at being ignored and in this strange place. "WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE!?"

"That is none of your concern, Hadrian Rawsone." said the voice before something caused the good doctor to fall flat on his back amid the wetness and slowly lose consciousness. "We shall restore you once more when he is most vulnerable."

Everything faded once the words had been done and Hadrian only knew nothingness.
