just like the principal said there was anew device for me in the dorm mailbox, jack and Sydney had volunteered to take me to my classes but I told em they didn't have to, no today my mind was occupies with something else.

the question had been in my mind for hours now after a particularly strange dream that I couldn't make heads or tails of.

I guess when I thought of the question, my system actually started looking for an answer. I wonder why it took so long.

their uniform was modified to include jagged edges on everything, the collar, where the buttons are, and the bottom all around, even the pants had jagged tears that looked planned, the dudes hair was all sort of weird, I mean I know mine was gray but it was shaggy and normal looking, this dude had a full on main character look from an anime.

I just put my head in my hands as I breathed deeply, the sheer annoyance this girl was causing me right now.

ok that was cute for a while but now I'm over it, I walked over, picked the girl up, slung her over my shoulder and walked her to tje roof acces door, and placed her in the roof stair well.
slamming the door to the roof hard to send my message.

I groaned at the girls words, why can't anyone here leave me alone?
I turned my eyes back to the horizon, maybe flying would help.

I wss about to take the new ability fir a test run when the odd girl came back, this time she wasn't alone.

am awkward silnce growing on the roof as no one spoke for a minute.

the back of my shirt tore as two large dark red metallic bat wings spread wide, I jumped backwards and off the roof, easily turning around amd flapping the wings, carrying me away from whatever that was just now.
the wind rushing, the weightlessness, I should've tried this before now, the calm and relaxed scenery as you glide over everything, the clear head, it's just like when I was lounging on tree branches in the mid afternoon sun.
but not everything lasts forever.
