“What did you do?!” she exclaimed, her breathing becoming unsteady. The reflection of a woman with white long hair braided all the way at the back and had three horns protruding on top of her head mimicked her expression. The water rippled a little but the image staring at her remained the same. Her complexion almost blinded her with the vast whiteness that stretched around her. Turning her head from left to right, she found nothing and no one to help her understand what happened. “What did you do?!” she bellowed. [Welcome Priestess! "I'm sorry, honey." Beatrix could hear her mother's voice. It was echoing in her head as they stared at the response of the system.

She stared at the translucent screen.

Zera put a hand on Beatrix's shoulder. Mysie Xavier's name flashed on the screen. For this time, it was her mother who was the hostage.

"I'm sorry," Zera whispered. Beatrix clenched her hands into fists, but said nothing.

Jaspreth patted Beatrix's shoulder next. They were feeling her rage and, aside from Nayowmi; they were all mourning for the other players already.

Getting Beatrix mad was a bad idea.

"Let's go," Beatrix uttered after the translucent screen disappeared. She was no longer seeing their surroundings clearly.

Her friends exchanged glances. But they also said nothing about it. They have all agreed that right now was not the time to reveal their identities to Nayowmi.
