CHAPTER 28
John looked at the newly built racetrack and also decided to built a colosseum. He could create a mecha and let it simulate damage as per the attacks to have a game and decided to do so. He really liked to play those games and although he was not a fool to empower his enemies, he could create game lands.
John returned to the castle and looked at the people and decided to fight the world. He had created microscopes but the problem remained that microscopic observations based on light did not matter much on the scales of angstrom. He sighed and decided to get a new skill that would allow him to observe matter at lower level so that he could actually create items as such.
John sighed as he was not strong enough to take care of the world. He decided to wait for some time before he can take care of the world. He returned to his home to have some fun time learning to draw as he had to increase his qualities in art to make better items. He sighed as he saw the teacher who teaches him the method of drawing and he took the pen and controlled it to start drawing. His method was different from the ones done by them.
He let the colours rise and started colouring as per the methods thought. The different lines drawn and the different ways of colouring was followed as he could learn it in a single day. He kept colouring it till the time had come to stop the classes. He sighed and put away the paper and drawing board and invited his teacher to have some tea and snacks and let the servants bring them. He waited for some time before the food was arranged and John started eating them.
His teacher spoke, "There are times when the king has to make more appearance to stabilize the heart of the people."
John said, "Who asked you to say these?"
The lady said, "My child who is currently the commander at the front lines. The problem remains that the world union has more authority in front of the people."
John said, "They are given the best weapons and they do not need anything more. They can fight and win easily and they have the right to loot as long as they do not harm the people. They will not have to stay there for long and with the railways they can cross and return as soon as possible. What more do you need me to do."
The lady said, "You can put up some achievement-based rewards."
John said, "I could have done it if I was the one leading the war because then it would have been the war of conquering. This was is the war of unification and it is done by the citizens. If the future citizens are forced to suffer more then they will be having hatred. While it is true that I can take it by force and suppress them, why should I do it in a hard manner while it could be done in a simple manner. The problem here is not about the war as the war can be won easily with almost zero causality as long as you have a better strategy. Killing more will be useless. What is more needed is management and the officials can take soldiers under them so that the officials who can pay the soldiers as per their amount of work towards the goal. I have already done it."
The lady said, "That is not the way of the king."
John said, "I have no interest to first increase the morale and then let them fight. If they want, they shall do it if they want. They get paid for what they do for."
The lady asked, "So you want to break the kingdom like a frog in a boiling water unable to sense its death. You are cunning enough. The path you arranged will let the talented and elite get out of their kingdom and live a free life. If I am not wrong, within some time you will be able to create cities free from the royal and noble powers and let the people live in a free environment. You can even replace the strong nobles who support you by giving them more power and items. It will only take twenty years to do so."
John said, "I will not only do that I will also destroy nobility in the future and will also destroy the needs for elites in the future and create a pure centralized society. But that is useless as such society will only last as long as I am alive. That is the reason why I have given them sovereignty so that they can live alive and the future conflicts will be fulfilled in their own manner. As to balance the president, I just have to let all the items I created and all the machines to be under the control of the president and also, I could create much more weapons specific to the president. As for time I do not have to care as I am strong enough that I just have to stay here and all will come under me."
The lady said, "Politics is different from power."
John said, "I just have to make sure the ones below me like you take care of those items and give you the power including the guns and weapons. They cannot challenge me and even if you are replaced, someone else will take your position. But do not worry as I do not like to waste time in such things. That is the reason why I have blocked the exploitation to a certain limit and have given you power. If with such better life and better treatment and the militaristic power that I have provided you, you are unable to keep your territory to yourself, the there is indeed something wrong with choosing you."
The lady asked, "So what if the other nations had taken actions to bring down another nation."
John said, "The ones who started and contributed to the conspiracy will be punished and the victim shall have its power return. I really believe that the strong should remain strong so I do not care about anything other than the strong and talented remain in the top. Or do you expect me to take care of each item. I am not a fool to let the world develop better. I have already done things that would let the world develop faster and become richer and stronger. The careerists can rise and the ones who want a good life can just live. I have done enough for the world and they pay it back with their respect and fealty and if not, I just kill them. That is all that is happening and I have no interest raising them and brainwashing them to let them think that I am a born king and they are to believe in me and respect me from generation to generation."
The lady said, "It would have been better if you were born as a noble as you would have taken over the world and become a king and created a big empire. With the machine you could create, you could have created an absolute regime and let it pass from time to time after you. This world would have been truly unified."
John said, "Even the most modern nations have discrimination. It might be based on class, on occupation, on race and an empire cannot let them go forward unless the imperial family really is hell bent on letting the world move forward. The best method is to have a world president maintain peace and maintain fair trade and give them autonomy within limits. They can break up countries based on their difference or come together due to some alliance and form a new country. In this manner the human society will keep growing due to competition while the world union reigns supreme. "
The lady said, "You do know that I care for you. You have to get married to someone and have a heir."
John said, "If I can marry once then I can marry forever. The problem remains my philosophy denies me being in any relation with others whether it be a wife, parents or friends. I can only live alone. So say to the beings behind you that I have no interest in getting married."
The lady said, "You should know by now that there is no one who is behind me."
John said, "My life force is strong enough to let me live for 179 years and with more strength my life will keep increasing."
The lady said, "I am indeed happy for you."
John said, "When will you be taking the female version of the mecha I created."
The lady said, "When you finish learning."
They kept drinking the tea as they were companions in the path known as life. They lived their life as they could and they try to connect to each other.
