Desperation Part V
“A gunner wants to do a close-range combat? Is this bravery or foolishness?”
In the blink of an eye, Valentine approached the target. She shot the illusional shots at Lucius. The man dodged it fairly easily. It was as if they were dancing gorgeously, yet deadly.
Lucius leaned back a little, and, while Valentine was not careful, he put his hand on Valentine’s face and ignited the bomb in close range!

Valentine was fully hit. She was thrown off backwards. However, she flashed a smile and Lucius had to narrow his eyes.
Valentine did not hesitate to throw her Illusion up high. Lucius knew right away that the close-range combat was a decoy!!
And now, a man was above Lucius. He was a tall man with only one eye, Vis the Eagle Eye!!
He grabbed the gun that Valentine threw and dashed down about an inch away from Lucius. He pointed the gun at Lucius’s chest!
“Even if it’s you, this close is hard to dodge!”
Vis shouted and pulled the trigger.
Bang!!!
