102 Color of the Heart

Spandam was dragging Robin by her hair up the stairs, cursing "Bitch! Look what you've brought on to me! You're cursed! I should kill you!" Robin was silent as they went, finally reaching the last step to the outside.

Unfortunately for Spandam and Robin…

Nightmare giggled as he flew through the air, grabbing the back of Spandam's head and smashing it into the stairs beneath him. The entire tower that the staircase was in, trembled as Spandam's face kissed the bricks.

Nightmare crouched on Spandam's back giggling crazily as he smashed Spandam's face into the steps, destroying both the stairs and his skull. Robin slumped to the ground and watched emotionlessly as Nightmare quite literally beat Spandam's brains in.

He paused and turned his head to the side, eyeing Robin as an evil grin sprawled across his face. He dropped the nearly dead Spandam and grabbed Robin's neck, smashing her back against the walls.

She shouted "Ah!" on impact as cracks spread from behind her.

Blood trickled from her lips as she looked at Nightmare. Her eyes filled with guilt and sadness, but not regret.

He looked into her eyes and giggled, asking "Are you afraid?" Robin looked at him and stayed silent, Nightmare's eyes twitched unnoticeably as rage bubbled up and he asked louder this time "I said. Are you afraid!?"

His hand tightened slowly and Robin choked slightly looking at Nightmare without fear, realizing something. She smiled instead and said raspily "That's what you want, is it? Fear?" Nightmare's expression shifted and he frowned, his body twitching strangely, as Robin continued "It makes you feel powerful, right? When everybody fears you?"

Nightmare's eyes flared with rage as he shouted "SHUT UP!" lifting her up by the neck and growling, Robin wasn't threatened as she added in between breaths "It doesn't hurt… When they fear you… You're in control… That's why you want fear, right? Because, you're scared?"

Nightmare froze and started trembling, his sharp teeth started grinding against each other and his already red eyes became even more red, his red irises seemingly leaking to the whites of his eyes and his pupils. His entire being shivering with unstoppable rage, anger, and hatred.

He reeled his other arm back and threw a punch as Robin closed her eyes.

The impact never came but a massive 'Boom' sounded right next to her.

She opened her eyes to see a massive hole next to her, leading to the outside. It went through several meters of pure concrete, crushing everything to dust…

Nightmare slammed her against the wall and shouted insanely "FEAR ME!" Robin turned back to the near unstable Nightmare and smiled slowly, replying "No." Nightmare shook and a blue crack snaked up his right eye, he held his right eye and glared at Robin.

He slowly closed his eyes and cracked his neck violently.

He took a deep breath and muttered "She betrayed us, we're angry. Give me your anger…" under Robin's astonished gaze, Nightmare calmed himself down and his maniacally cruel grin resurfaced.

His hand slowly slid down from his right eye and hung neck to him lifelessly as he giggled "You're smart~ Hehiehiehiehieiheih" His hand moved up and traced over Robin's cheek, moving down and slowly sharpening at the same time, as he added "It's a shame, even the slave hates you…"

Mentioning this Robin's eyes flashed with extreme sadness.

Nightmare slowly cut through the shirt Robin was wearing, revealing her bosom as he continued "The slave felt different around you too, it's such a shame…" he gently flicked the left half of her cut shirt, displaying her white skin.

He licked his lips, his eyes flashing with desire as his sharpened finger slowly pierced her flesh… It was directly over her heart as he swallowed, staring at the blood trickling down while saying "The feelings the slave discovered were snuffed out like a fire in the winter, smothered with betrayal…"

He sniffed and revealed an intoxicated expression, adding "Mmm the sweet smell of revenge." he turned his eyes to Robin's, licking his lips and giggling "Are you feeling afraid yet?"

She looked at him blankly and he leaned forward, whispering in her ear "If I eat your, still beating, heart in front of you will you finally be afraid~?" as expected, she shivered and Nightmare groaned.

He laughed softly before it slowly got louder and louder as he threw his head back, his twisted and cruel laughter ringing through the tower nearly reaching Enies Lobby.

He snapped back and looked at the shallow finger width hole above Robin's heart. He licked his lips and grinned "No sense in wasting time then~ Hhieiheiheh" He pulled his hand back and formed a sharpened claw, his eyes lighting up with desire and excitement.

Robin shook and looked at Nightmare, shouting "Thirteen! I want you to know… I'm sorry!" she closed her eyes and smiled with tears hanging from her eyelashes. Nightmare froze for a moment before sneering "A crude attempt at pity."

He was about to move, when he was punched in the face by a metal fist and sent flying through the hole at the top of the staircase, onto the Bridge of Hesitation.

He reflexively let go of Robin and she fell to the ground, gasping for air and coughing.

Franky stood in front of her and growled "What a creepy bastard!" Robin coughed "Run! He's too strong for you! Just leave me, I caused this anyway…" Franky looked at her and grinned "Can I, Lady. Fighting a crazy tiger person is a man's romance!"

As he ran up the stairs, to confront Nightmare.

Nightmare recovered and stood up, looking at Franky in anger.

Franky sneered at him and raised his fists, saying "Come on, kitty. I don't believe you're invincible!" Nightmare grinned and giggled "You will."
