A Doctor's Cure

Thirteen opened his eyes to see a gray bricked ceiling. He looked around him and saw a bookshelf, a table with medical equipment on it, a table with a few chairs, and a few doors.

He sat up and took off the blanket, turning to put his feet on the cold floor. His ear twitched and the door opened, as he looked over, a small reindeer walked in holding a tray.

Thirteen tilted his head, the reindeer was wearing a pink hat and standing on 2 feet or hooves. The reindeer froze and stared at Thirteen blankly, Thirteen stared at him before losing interest and walking to the other door.

The Reindeer was obviously Chopper!

Chopper trembled and said "You can't leave!" Thirteen stopped and looked at him, Chopper jumped behind the door and hid, shouting "You're still sick!" Thirteen looked at him hiding incorrectly before opening the door and stepping outside, ignoring Chopper.

Chopper let out a breath before witnessing Thirteen fly back into the room and slam into the bed, breaking it, as Doctrine walked in saying "You better listen to the Doctor's recommendations, brat."

Chopper's jaw dropped and Doctrine added "Now you owe me for a bed too!" Thirteen pressed his arms on the ground as Doctrine stepped on his chest, grinning as she held a scalpel to his throat, saying "I don't let patients leave until they're cured or dead."

Thirteen stared at her and she shifted her foot a bit, looking at his brand, before adding "By the way…" Thirteen narrowed his eyes and she finished "Walking around a winter island without clothes on is pretty idiotic."

Thirteen blinked and tilted his head as she took her foot off, saying "Especially for a Mink without fur." Chopper tilted his head and asked "Mink?" Doctrine looked at him and said "Yeah. Animal people." Chopper gasped and said "Like me?!"

Doctrine kicked him flying as she said "No! Not like you!" before turning back to Thirteen and adding "Now that's something you don't see everyday. A Mink in paradise." she bent over and folded his ears back, looking at them and continuing "Especially a Half-Mink. Not only that but a Legendary Mink too. You're a special one, brat."

She stood back up and muttered "I'm gonna have to charge you extra."

Thirteen blinked and sat up, looking at the ground. Doctrine sat down and drank from a whiskey bottle as Chopper ran back with a bloody nose, jumping at Thirteen saying "YOU ATE A DEVIL FRUIT LIKE ME! BROTHER!"

Thirteen swatted him out of the way and Doctrine laughed, asking "Which parent of yours was a Mink?" Thirteen didn't answer and stared blankly at the floor, Doctrine hummed and answered herself "Most likely your father then… Unless you're an albino mutation of a regular tiger… But then you would have gray eyes, not light blue and definitely not as bright."

She tapped the table and muttered "Unfortunately, that damn Lion avoided me like the plague…" she clicked her tongue and drank again as Thirteen looked at her before looking away. She put her bottle back down and said "Hey, Brat."

He turned around and looked at her from the door as he was holding the handle. She asked "Do you know what your grandfather looks like?" Thirteen shook his head and walked out of the room, closing the door as Chopper jumped over, letting the reindeer slam into it and slide down to the floor.

Chopper cried "Why doesn't he like me! Is it because of my nose?!" Doctrine threw the table at him, shouting "YOU'RE NOT A MINK! YOU'RE A CLOWN!"

Thirteen walked in the hallways around the castle before passing another room with Vivi in it. He stopped and looked at her, her arms and legs were covered in bandages, suspended from the ceiling.

There were sticks on them under the bandages, preventing them from bending. Her face was also bandaged slightly, over her forehead and nose. Her fingers were bandaged, as well as covered in tinfoil over smoke coming from a strange fire.

He looked away and passed the room, going on a tour around the castle.

Doctrine came by and muttered "Where did that dumb cat go?" Chopper ran past her, shouting "SAVE ME!" before Luffy and Sanji flew by Doctrine as well, saying "COME BACK HERE, MEAT!" and "Venison will be a good tonic for Vivi-chan.

Doctrine took a swig from her bottle, muttering "You bring in a couple brats and it's suddenly a madhouse…" before turning a hallway and disappearing.

Thirteen arrived outside and walked to the cliff.

He looked down and listened to the whistling of the winds. He noticed that the cliff was pretty high up, his memory was kinda foggy about what happened. He only remembered waking up to climbing a cliff, then realizing he was being carried, then lightening the load and helping slightly before passing back out again.

He didn't remember who was carrying him or how he got up here.

Suddenly, Doctrine appeared next to him and said "I can't believe that girl climbed all the way up here." she clicked her tongue again and shook her head, Thirteen looked at her and before he said anything, she added "Stress fractures on all her bones, extreme muscle sprains and tears, 2 broken bones, joint fractures, and internal bleeding. She was near death when she got here too. Her body was suffering from hypothermia, and her fingers were frostbitten badly. It's a miracle she's still alive really."

Thirteen turned back to the cliff and Doctrine looked at him, saying "Don't talk much?" Thirteen was silent and she turned back, adding "I guess slavery will do that to ya." before hitting Thirteen in the back of the head.

She caught his body and threw him on her shoulder, walking back to the castle, muttering "Damn kids nowadays, I'm a doctor not a psychiatrist."

She put Thirteen back into his bed and sat at the table, propping her feet up on Thirteen's chest.

Chopper ran into the room and slammed the door behind him before running through the other one as Luffy and Sanji blasted through the door. Luffy chased after Chopper while Sanji pointed at Thirteen and asked "Is he okay?"

Doctrine looked at him and answered "He was moving around just a few minutes ago." Sanji smiled and said "That's great!" before looking at Thirteen and asking "So he's just resting now?" Doctrine tilted her head and said "Something like that."

Sanji let out a breath of relief before grumbling "He could've said something." Doctrine just drank and said nothing as Sanji sat down. He lit a cigarette and asked "Is he cured, Grandma?"

Doctrine kicked him in the face and shouted "I'M 147 YEARS YOUNG, BRAT!" Sanji smashed into the wall and groaned as he slid down to the ground, muttering "How is 147 years, young…" Doctrine seemed to have not heard him as she said "He's fine now. The Kestia is a nasty thing, luckily for him, I researched it years ago. He should still be resting but he'll be fine. Good thing you brought him when you did, another day and he would've been dead."

Sanji rubbed his nose and asked "What about Vivi-chan?" Doctrine stayed silent for a moment before replying "That girl was near death in many ways." Sanji tensed up and Doctrine continued "After surgery and many extremely precious medicines, she was saved."

She looked at Sanji and added "I also used an extremely rare and precious elixir I created in my lab. EXTREMELY PRECIOUS, understand?!" Sanji was confused and asked "What elixir?" Doctrine snorted and said "I finally figured out the right mixture and created it for the first time…"

Sanji asked again "What elixir?!" Doctrine said "Bone Remolding elixir! Now get out of here!" as she kicked him out of the room through a wall, shouting "You have to pay for that!"

Luffy popped his head in the room and said "What's a Bone Remolding Elixir? Can you eat it?" Doctrine threw a book at his head and it bounced off as she said "Destroys and rebuilds the bones in your body making them tougher! Idiot!"

Chopper poked his head into the room and said "You gave her that?!" as Luffy's hand was grabbing his antler tightly. Doctrine sighed and answered "The muscle regenerator too." Chopper gasped and Luffy opened his mouth before Doctrine kicked his face, sending him flying.

She heard Luffy's voice travel from across the castle "I'm taking the Reindeer with meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…" before she sat down and sighed again, Sanji walked back and Doctrine said "You won't be able to take him."

Sanji had a bunch of question marks over his head and Thirteen's ears twitched. Doctrine looked out the window and said "You want to know the secret of my eternal youth?" Sanji said "Yes, actu-"

Doctrine cut him off saying "Chopper doesn't trust people. If you want to bring him with you, it will be extremely hard. It all started…" Sanji was stunned by her pace and slowly started listening to the story.

As did Thirteen, who was laying in the bed, staring at the ceiling, unable to move with Doctrine's legs on him.
