"Did your mother say anything else?" Genesis asked Aiden through the phone.
After dinner, they had talked for a bit and mentioned the island. Of course, they had not said anything about the testament her mother left, she had only mentioned her curiosity about the island because she had found something related to it in her father's files. It was a lie, a lie Mrs.Miller had believed.
And it seemed that Mrs.Miller had the closest relationship to the Smith couple. Mr.Miller on the other hand and his relationship with the Smith couple was more business-related. While Genesis and Aiden had talked to Mrs.Miller, that had been very clear.
This is why Genesis wanted to know why.
He never showed it until today. Or maybe there was more than just a business partner's relationship. Maybe Mr.Miller was just not interested in speaking about the island.
