Griffin lifted an eyebrow. “So you can drive it?” He walked over and kissed Daniel after saying, “Good morning.”
“Good morning,” Daniel mumbled against Griffin’s lips. When they broke apart, he said, “I have to call the contractor to set up a meeting at the house.”
“And that’s exactly why I took care of your car.”
Daniel hugged him. “I think you’re the nicest man I’ve ever met. Are you going to come with me, or does cleaning off my car mean you’re staying here?”
“Of course I’m coming with you. I want to be certain you make it there and back again in one piece.”
“You’re afraid Ray’s going to try something else?” Daniel asked as they went back into the cabin.
“Not really. By now he should have gotten the message that it wouldn’t do him any good. Still, it’ll pay to be careful for a while.”
