"I-I'm sorry, Sir. I didn't know that something bad would happen to your daughter because of the flower I suggested to you. I didn't mean for this to happen, So p-please forgive me," Vanessa stuttered, her voice trembling.
He rubbed his forehead and gave Vanessa a cold stare.
She couldn't bear to look at him. She's keeping her gaze down out of fear.
Then, he glanced at the still unconscious Venice while he's holding her hand.
"You know, it would be better if you don't show your face to me for two days until Venice fully recovers," he said to her coldly.
She trembled with fear even more while still unable to meet his gaze.
"A-are you going to fire m-me?" she asked, her voice quivering.
"No, neither of us knew about her allergy, and as her dad, it's my responsibility to be aware of such things. However, I failed in that regard too. For the time being, I'd prefer not to see you. Could you please leave for now?"
