Chapter 17

Rome felt a shiver down his spine when Ray whispered, he tried to move away but Ray held on to him tight,"Stay still or you are gonna fall."

Lacy's over possessiveness was on the brink of showing, she however tried to keep calm for now and decided she would deal with Rome later. She stood up and said,"Ray it's getting late. I should get going."

Ray looked at her and then gave a nod,"Okay Bye, see you tomorrow." Lacy's mouth twitched, usually Ray would offer to walk her home but now he didn't even stood up, Lacy gave one last glance to Ray who was hugging Rome tightly before walking out of the door.

When Lacy was out, she said,"Is that bastard so important to you that you don't even walk your girlfriend off, and you Rome, how dare you touch my man? If I don't make you pay, I will change my name!!!" With this she stomped her feets and walked away.

Tony too stood up,"Ray it's getting late, I should get going too."

Rome turned to look at Tony,"No don't go. Stay at my place tonight. We have all your books and clothes here so it won't be a problem. Please stay na~~~"

Rome gave Tony puppy eyes attack which as usual Tony couldn't resist, he sighed,"Okay fine I will stay." Rome grinned and punched his fist upwards,"Yay! Now let me get up and we can go to my place." However Ray had no plans to release Rome,"You guys stay here."

Rome pouted,"Why? My house is next door." Ray shook his head,"Stay here please." Rome let out a sigh,"Okay fine. Now let me go first."

Ray felt a tingle down his spine when he felt Rome's breath on his neck, his heart was beating rapidly,"No I won't. If I let you go, you will hug Tony. And I don't want that." Ray don't know why he said that, the words just left his mouth before registering itself to his brain. He can feel the heat rising up his cheeks.

Tony and Rome were shocked, Rome asked,"Why?"

Again Ray said without thinking,"Because I will be jealous."

Rome tried to keep his heart in check, he doesn't want to get his hopes up, he doesn't want to suffer from heartbreak, Tony asked,"Why would you be jealous?"

Ray said,"Because he is mine." Ray wanted to smack his own forehead, what the hell was he saying, it's as if someone posssessed him, he chuckled awkwardly,"Because he is mine friend, yeah mine bestest friend."

Rome finally got out of Ray's grasp and tried to hide the disappointment, he knew that Ray only thought of him just as a friend and he would never be something more than that but hearing it from Ray hurts. he unsconsciously had his hopes up again, He took a deep breath,"Guys let's have dinner and go to sleep, I'm tired."

Tony knew that Rome was hurt but he could't hug and console his friend because he knew Ray would hug Rome too, and Rome wouldn't want that, not right now, atleast not yet, he said, with a proud grin on his face,"I ordered pizza, we can eat that before we go to sleep."

Ray beamed,"Thanks Tony, you are a life saver." Rome too smiled,"Thanks bud." Tony chuckled, happy that this at least made his friend smile.

After a while, the Pizza arrived, they all ate it, Rome and Tony decided to clean up the place before going to the bedroom to sleep.

All three of them entered the bedroom and they realised that there was only one bed, Ray said,"I and Rome will sleep on the bed, Tony you take the couch."

Tony said,"No I and Rome will take the bed, you take the couch."

They both started bickering like small kids, who will sleep on bed and who will sleep on the couch, therefore Rome decided to be the pacemaker and butted in,"I will take the couch and you guys sleep on the bed."

Ray and Tony stopped bickering and said at the same time,"No!"

Ray sighed,"This will go no where if we continue this. Let's all sleep on the bed. It's just for one night only. However I will take the corner."

Tony nodded,"Okay the other corner is mine."

Rome jumped on the bed,"Then guess the middle place is mine. I am going to sleep. Good night guys."

Ray and Tony also went to bed,"Goodnight."

It only took 10-15 minutes for Ray and Tony to sleep, however Rome was awake, he couldn't sleep because of the thoughts going on in his mind. He sighed, he has been sighing a lot lately, he closed his eyes and tried to sleep. it took him a hour to actually fall asleep.

The next morning, the alarm rang, Rome was a light sleeper so he got up before the other two, he tried to get up to turn the alarm off but Ray was trapping him in the embrace, the alarm was annoying him so he shook Tony because the alarm was on Tony's side,"Hey Tony wake up. Wake up and turn that thing off!"

Tony grunted but eventually got up, he turned the alarm off, sat up and said,"Good morning Rome." Rome smiled,"Morning Tony." Rome now started shaking Ray,"Get up Ray!! get up!!" Ray groaned in annoyance,"Rome can't you let me sleep? 10 minutes more please."

Rome said, anger clearly evident in his voice,"If you don't get up now, I am going to kill you!" Ray clicked his tongue and sat up,"Okay Fine! Fine I am up now. Geez you are always like this."

Rome ignored Ray and said,"I am going to shower first then make you guys something to eat."

They both nodded as Rome made his way to the shower room.

He took a shower and started making light breakfast. After a while, Ray and Tony took shower one by one and went to the dinning table. The two of them sat on the table while Rome served the breakfast,"Here it's ready."

Tony smiled,"Thanks Rome~"

Ray grinned,"Thanks Hun."

Rome tried to hide his blush as he sat down,"Ray don't call me Hun!"

Ray chuckled,"Thanks Romeeeeeeeeeee"

Rome and Tony laughed and started eating their food.

When they were done, they left for the school.
