The Planning of Youden's Revolt

Some 200 miles away, a hidden cave was guarded by a few soldiers. These soldiers however were not in the country's army of Saputa. In fact, these were guards loyal to Youden. From the entrance, they could hear tinkering inside the cave. If one went about 3,000 more feet deeper, it would open up to reveal a large space inside. There were about 600 people of all races and genders, each ranging from having no powers to the leader Youden, strongest out of all of them. He was watching with great interest at the current training session happening, when he felt a tugging on his cloak. He stared behind him to see his researcher Lina behind him.

"Is it finished?" Youden asked, for if completed, would help their plan to take over the country even faster then before.

"My leader, I believe that the final product is completed and we have run some tests with it. It appears to be more effective than we imagined." She replied back with confidence.

Perfect, he thought with a smirk. He went up to his 5 generals and 8 commanders who were studying a map of the country. He went up to them, and they all quickly looked up and saluted him. Youden studied the map for the revolt. The first plan was to take control of the main island of a small island nation about fifty miles off the coast of Saputa. Then, once captured, they would alert all the rest of the islands part of the chain that they were being annexed and obtain complete control. Of course, resistance would occur, but with their new invention, it would hopefully quickly convince them to surrender. Once completely annexed, they would establish a base on the main one and fortify all of the islands. The research would accelerate farther and factories could be built to increase the production of new equipment. Then the invasion of the mainland could begin. He gleamed with pride and plenty of joy! It's all coming together! He could harder contain himself. He thanked them for their work and walked briskly toward the deeper part of the cave.

As he walked, he thought about how he got here. How he lost to Boom. Out of all people, why did he have to fight him! He was so close to killing him too! But then, he used the essence. The essence that increased one's power by tenfold for all he knew. But with the new weapons being created, there will be no need. By the time he arrived, he saw the creation. A long iron tube, fitted inside a wooden outer shell, with a small lever extending on the bottom. What a creation, he thought with pride.

"I would like to test this out, Lina." He asked her.

"Alright, but be careful not to aim it at anyone. It's quite destructive." She replied back with a serious attitude.

"How did you even make this? And what do you mean aim?" he questioned.

"Well, we first discovered that by making a type of black powder and igniting it with an object in front of it, it accelerates faster than most powers can even see, let alone defend against! And well, in order to hit your target, you need to aim the weapon at it as precisely as possible. It's best if you close one of your eyes before firing, preferably the left one, and aiming with the right one." She answered back.

Shouldn't be too hard, he thought. He looked at a small bat in the distance sleeping on the roof of the cave. Let's see how powerful this is. He grabbed the weapon and closed his left eye. Taking a deep breath, he carefully aimed at it and fired. BOOM! Smoke filled the air in front of him. To his surprise, the weapon was stronger than he thought as it almost went out of his hands. When the smoke cleared, the bat wasn't even there. It was only a bloody spot left where it just was. He looked down and saw what was left of the remains. It was barely anything there but yet still seeping blood. The man could do little but grin at the achievement.

"If we can reduce the amount of smoke, let's get that fixed. I need to know how many you can make in a week and training to start with these as soon as twenty of those weapons are created. We shall rise and be feared around the world!" He yelled at her with pride. And so the revolt was coming into effect, starting then and there.
