She looked pale. Paler than the last time I saw her in her father's office. I had thought it was just the condition he was keeping her in. I thought that If I could give her a year out of his clutches that there would be more life in her beautiful face.
But the woman who stood in front of me was practically lifeless. Shaking against the rain and cold that infiltrated this horrible meeting location, it only made me want to end everything by putting a bullet in-between Javier's eyes.
"Beatrice." I greeted the remarkable woman standing before me. "We, meet again."
"Under better terms this time. I hope." Beatrice responded softly.
