22 Venom Rip-Off

Ok. Clearly, I wasn't expecting this. A black tentacle was stabbed into Eiling from the back and the man in question was moaning in pain as the light in his eyes dimmed. His body started melting into the black tentacle thing stringing him up. The one responsible looked like he had just had an appetizer and turned his eyes to me.

Blackened sludge began flowing and covered his helmet, forming a face only a mother could love. It's maw opened to reveal terrifying teeth and two white eyes formed on its face.

Wait a minute...oh come on!! Someone must be screwing with me. Blackout had changed into a venom Rip off.

Ok let's recap...

(A few minutes ago)

Streaks of electric energy clad Blackout's body. After accidentally supercharging him he'd lost all semblance of control and started running at me like an addict seeing his next fix.

"Raaaahgh!"

He screamed in an animalistic way and jumped at me. His speed was clearly inhuman though just barely. At the height of his jump I slapped him away with a blast of air and he shot off back to his starting point.

"Tch. Stay down."

"Aaaghh. I'll kill you!"

He got back up and started running at me again. This time I formed a water ball the size of a basketball and froze it. Cold air emanated from it and I mentally shot it towards Blackout.

"Oof!"

The ice ball hit his torso and despite having the chest armor, I could tell he'd felt it. He knelt on the ground and started breathing in heavily.

"Blackout! Use your brain you fool. Blast him with lightning bolts from long range. Running at him will not solve anything!"

General Eiling shouted at his only hope of getting out of this alive. He knew if Blackout hadn't intercepted the blast from before, he would have been ashes floating in the air. Eiling unfortunately did one mistake. He called attention to himself and once Blackout looked at him his whole demeanor changed.

"You."

Blackout's voice gained a growl of anger when he ground out the word.

"You hurt us...Made...Me...us bleed...tried to control Us!"

His head jerked as his body spasmed and suddenly without warning, black tentacles exploded from different parts of his body. I widened my eyes as I sent a wind blade at the tentacles going for Bette's prone body. If she died then it wouldn't matter how fast I could escape, my house would be in shambles and i still had alot of valuable experiments at the lab.

The wind blade separated the tentacles and I controlled the air to carry Bette to me.

"Aaaagh no. What are you doing?!! Let me go asshole!"

Iron edge was struggling and trying to escape from the binding of the tentacles.

"Holy fuck."

I softly said as I watched Iron Edge get decapitated and his body devoured by the tentacles. The smell of blood filled the air and I steeled myself.

"No..no...no no! I order you to stop this Blackout!"

Eiling was kicking up a fuss while hanging from Blackout's appendages. 'How is he doing this?' I wondered. Blackout from canon only had the powers of siphoning electric energy from any source. The ability to form tentacles from his body was in no way related to his electro-kinesis. So the question on my mind was, how?

Eiling started fumbling around in his shirt pocket and managed to bring out a small device. Crunch!

"Aaaaggh!"

Before he could press any of the buttons on the remote-like device his hand was crushed by a tentacle.

"You hurt me...not anymore."

His voice had already changed into something demonic and my chuuni sense started to tingle. There was something very familiar with this. That's when Eiling was killed, Blackout revealed himself to have some kind of symbiote from the studio next door and I was honestly too tired to think about the implications. At this point, I'll accept anything.

(General P.O.V)

Cisco didn't know what to do. Normally there wouldn't be a problem too big for his genius brain to tackle but his current predicament was different. He suspected that Dr.Wells had probably already made the connection that he too had but Caitlin was still in the dark. She was also the one who would be affected the most. That said, he would go ahead and rip the band aid off. He knew that secrets were the easiest way to break someone's trust and he didn't want that to happen when she found out later.

"Hey Caitlin, can I talk to you."

She looked up from what she was doing, nodded and rubbed her eyes.

"Just stumped on how different Jin's d.n.a is to other metas. By the way, have you recently talked to him? He hasn't been picking up my calls and I'm worried. I tried to go over to his apartment but the owner told me he left. I can't believe he didn't even..."

"He's... probably fine Caitlin."

He interrupted her and sat down, sighing.

"What's going on Cisco?"

"You know how there was a high reading of dark matter concentration outside the city?"

"Yeah. I still don't understand why Dr.Wells didn't want to send Barry to check it out."

"He said something about the army going to investigate."

Cisco frowned.

"Now that I think about it...the army doesn't operate mainland if it isn't something serious."

Mmh, something to look into once Barry was back in top shape.

"Cait it's relating to the property where the surge happened. I did a little digging..."

"You mean hacked."

"Digging. Anyway I found out something and I'm not sure what to make of it...the property is listed under Jin Anderson and it was purchased over a week ago."

Caitlin was silent for a while.

"Are you sure?"

Cisco nodded.

"Then you suspect..."

"Yeah. I think Jin might be Drakon."

(Jin's P.O.V)

"Rest here for a bit."

I told the unconscious woman who just earlier had been trying to kill me. God, why do I do this to myself?

She was still unresponsive and I had fallen back a distance away from Blackout, to get her out of the fighting zone. I then started walking towards the monstrosity. A water trident formed in my hands and although I didn't know how to use it, I had experience ingrained in me by Percy's demigod essence. 30 meters away I started forming water out of the atmosphere. Little beads of rain remained suspended in the air. 20 meters away and the beads froze and formed into spikes of ice. The temperature of the area dropped.

I raised my trident and jabbed it towards Blackout. Swish! swish! They tore through the air in a fast speed, stabbed into Blackout's skin before he grunted and his skin changed into a deep bronze color. Fuck, so he can use the powers of the people he devours huh? Then let's put him down before he gets the chance to do the same to Bette. He can also regenerate fast. Quite the list of powers there. Though I'm not one to talk.

The barrage of ice spikes didn't stop but Blackout finally had enough. 2 tentacles shot from his shoulders and pushed him up to hover in the air like the Iron spider. The newly created limbs had a sheen of iron covering them and I sucked in a breath. Iron Edge's abilities synergized well with Blackout's new symbiote powers and that would have been a nightmare for the flash to fight.

A slash of my trident bisected the chunk of tree that had been aimed at me. A flick of my weapon and the ice mixed in with the water to form a tornado aimed straight at Blackout. Multiple limbs shot from his body as he decided to tank the attack. The tornado swallowed him up and I waited a couple of minutes before dissipating it.

Blackout's silhouette appeared and he looked awful. From a glance however I could tell that they were all surface injuries. His clothes were shredded at this point and he was looking down without an expression on his alien face.

"There's not even a scratch...but we were scared...scared of dying...but this new feeling. This feeling of euphoria after overcoming death...is addictive."

At those last words, he looked straight at me and grinned even wider. Saliva started falling from his open mouth. His whole body was then covered in black sludge before his hulking figure gained a bronze sheen after activating Iron Edge's powers.

"Show me more. Show me everything you have so that I can overcome it all!"

Fast. I blasted off to the right and started somersaulting and jumping to avoid the metallic tentacles aiming to pierce me. From there we entered into a rhythm. Him hauling things as well as swinging and attacking with his tentacles while I deflected and dodged what I couldn't block.

"Hahaha. This is fun."

I couldn't help it. I knew I was a bit of an adrenaline junkie and having someone who could actually pose a threat to me was exhilarating.

Water balls, ice spikes, wind blades and the like shot off. The only thing I didn't use to attack him was lightning because I was sure that would only give him a power up. I wasn't dumb enough to do that but I enjoyed the challenge he gave me immensely. I could feel my skills getting refined as I synergized my attacks and got better at dodging. Seamless evasion was rapidly improving my balance and I usually found myself having dodged multiple attacks without prompting.

Five tridents formed around me as I circled Blackout. I jumped over a tentacle onto another one and used my wind to push myself further. From above my yard looked trashed. The tridents around me started spinning in place and finally I applied a thin layer of shockwaves.

"Take this!"

Whoosh!

Like missiles they shot off towards Blackout. He managed to tank 1 by anchoring himself to the ground but the next two left him wide open. The final two collided with his chest and he was thrown away. A section of the ground tore off with him.

I quickly sent water to cover his face and drowned him in a ball of water. Manacles made of ice formed around his body and he was wrapped into a cocoon. He started struggling because of losing air. Spikes formed off his body turning to desperately escape but his effort was futile. I gently touched down and approached him as he finally became unconscious.

"Good fight. Next time maybe I'll supercharge you more. There's nothing like a good challenge to spice things up. Now I guess it's time to..."

My head snapped back with the hit and it's only seamless evasion that ensured it had only been a glancing blow. A shockwave blasted out with me at the epi-center and I used the brief moment of respite to hover over the ground. I frowned in a little surprise. God, let me catch a breathe and wear a t-shirt maybe!

"You?"

The flash looked at me in determination.

"I won't let you hurt anyone else. This time I'm bringing you in."

I had been expecting the reverse flash but to think that Barry would be the one to come. Whatever...a speedster is still a speedster and I had been dying to show off my new move.

I chuckled a little in amusement. Like he could stop me.

"These people came here to attack me. I was just defending myself."

"If that's true then surrender peacefully. We'll sort this out through the law."

He told me.

How naive.

I gently touched down on the ground.

"You speedsters are all proud of your speed and normally catching upto you is an impossible task but I want you to remember...there's no such thing as impossible to me."

With that, a lightning bolt magnitudes larger than the ones I had supercharged Blackout with fell on me and my cells after being refined to host the speed force energy greedily drunk in the energy.

The world stopped. And everything was suspended in time. The flash' eyes slowly widened as he went into flash time. I took a step forward and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm fast, bitch."
