Power Trumps All (COMPLETE)

My life is complicated. My powers are complicated. The world I've found myself in isn't making my situation any easier too. The arrowverse is not as terrifying as some of the other screwed up worlds in the multiverse, but when you have people like Harrison wells running around and a more realistic spin to the Flash' rogue gallery...Power is the only way to save your ass. So that is what I'll strive for...Power Unending. *Cover pic ain't mine.

Putting The Genius To Work

Ok. first of all, I don't know nothin about science. Nothing! So y'all out there ready to blast me for this chapter...keep that in mind. That said, enjoy.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I finished redesigning the schematics to my newest toy. A 3D printer. This tool would help in making the tools necessary for the construction of my 2 big projects. The first of my big projects needed a little investigation and the second was not as urgent as the first so I took it slow.

the second was about my secret lair. I had the working theory down and the only thing left was a stable anchor that would connect my pocket dimension to the real world to allow safe portaling in and out.

The math was terribly complex and I was not happy to admit that Devoe was the brighter one of us two. The only thing I had him beat at was that I knew the scope of his intelligence and the potential it had. Devoe had been content to downgrading humanity's intelligence and then ruling over them as the supreme leader. What he should have been doing was trying to upgrade humanity's living standard and eliminate the problems faced by mankind. That was the way to true enlightenment. Not that I was going to do so, I was a selfish person and I knew it.

He had confined himself to a small pond when his intellect should have led him to try and achieve the impossible. Eradication of hunger in Africa through enrichment of the soil in semi arid areas, cure for cancer, combating global warming and so much more. That is what he was capable of. Even if he decided not to apply himself, the least he could do was to provide advanced prosthetics to people who were crippled.

I didn't have half of his knowledge but the raw brain boost I got everytime I accessed his abilities was astonishing. Already I had thoughts on how to improve the fusion core reactors blueprints that Devoe had started on.

He had eliminated the problem of finding materials strong enough to withstand the heat of plasma and was well on his way to stabilizing the massive output of energy without losing any through the process. I could think of multiple ways to make the process more effective and that was me without the basic knowledge of your everyday average electrochemist.

For instance, I could miniaturise the reactors and still not lessen the power produced. Soon space ships that could safely traverse space and achieve ftl speed would not be far away for my genius brain to tackle. Yay me. The only thing that was disadvantageous to me was time and resources. I didn't have enough time to put my genius to work because I needed to be prepared for the reverse flash at any moment.

My daily schedule was always packed. It had been a week after joining the Fitness and Fists dojo and I always made sure to go there daily for lessons. Next would be practicing my powers then taking online classes about different subjects under the effect of The thinker powers and finally drawing schemes and blueprints for the machines I would need to start on.

I needed a lot of money and materials for my big projects but before all of that was dealing with my first big project. A massive power-up. I had pushed building the secret lair back because of the grim feeling I had gotten from Wells when I had gone for my checkup at the Starlabs.

Any doubt left behind about him knowing my identity was now dead and I knew he was coming for me. Of course he didn't know that I knew who he was. Eobard was cautious about jumping the gun before having all the cards stacked to his favor. He was planning something. Something big. That's why time was so valuable to me.

I hadn't wanted to skip the steps to my plans but I didn't have a choice. I needed to be stronger and that meant recreating the process that gave Barry his powers. I had everything I needed the only thing left was mirakuru. Why? That's a secret.

I had acquired a sample of Barry's blood without getting noticed and studied it. His cells were primed with a different energy composition to dark matter. It was very similar though, and I concluded that it was the speed force energy making changes to his body. I didn't want to enter a comma but luckily after having my body saturated with dark matter, my body would be easily receptive to the speed force if the procedure worked.

On another note, someone was watching me. I had felt myself being monitored the previous night and spread out my water sense to know the culprit. I couldn't make out the faces but I was able to identify a van parked near my apartment building. There were a lot of devices in the van and four occupants. I didn't know who they were working for and I didn't want to spook them before finding out so I played dumb and went about my day as I normally would without using my powers out in the open.

Luckily losing the spys was as easy as breathing and I found myself at the place I was going. A chinese restaurant. I had changed into my costume before going in and after I entered, was ushered into a VIP room. Amunet was seated at the table enjoying her meal.

I unceremoniously sat down and cocked my head to the side.

"Is that a new haircut?"

I asked. Amunet chuckled.

"How nice of you to notice. It's all in the branding dear."

I nodded and gestured around.

"One of your many many establishments right?"

She rolled her eyes.

"It's a Chinese restaurant. Of course it's mine."

"Also helps to have the home ground advantage. I can detect no less than 10 guns aimed at my head Amunet. I'm not thrilled."

She didn't even act scared that I had found that out.

"Can you blame me? I'm dealing with someone who can bring the whole building down without even trying. But, as a show of trust…"

She waved her hand and I felt the guns aimed at me from the walls of the room retract.

"Now my dear, let's get down to business."

------------------------------------

I looked at the flash drive in my hand and smiled underneath the mask. I had gotten what I needed from Amunet and it was now time to pay her back. I currently had 2 favors I owed her but fortunately, by the end of the night we would be down to 1. The ocean current smoothly washed me ashore and I floated to the top of a container in the docks.

The favor Amunet wanted me to do for her was to disrupt a deal between 2 gangs and destroy them. I wasn't sure about killing them but I had come too far to back down now. It was either do it or lose my credibility with the only 'business associate' I had.

The deal was supposed to go down at the docks, a cliche if there ever was one. It was a drug exchange but according to Amunet's intel the leaders of both the gangs would be present. Sure enough, I spotted Araz Darbinyan, the boss of the Darbinyan crime family. Kyle Nimbus also known as The Mist, was a hitman for the Darbinyan gang but they had testified against him in court and in the future he would kill all of them with his meta abilities.

The other gang was known as the Electric gang, in the future they would clash with team flash because of using sophisticated weaponry in crime. Unfortunately for them, none of them will see tommorow let alone the future.

The bosses were seated while the rest of the gangs were standing around them armed with guns and on the lookout. I didn't want to waste time so I switched to my blood control and froze them. My demi-god abilities had been getting stronger and controlling over 2 dozen men was only slightly hard. I glided down to the middle of the group, over to the briefcases full of money.

"Don't mind me... We both know that this is blood money. I'm not making myself out to be a saint but I'll probably put it to better use than you."

I told them while looking at the dollar bills. With this, getting the resources I would need to carry out my plans wouldn't be a problem. I could see the terror and rage in their eyes as I slammed the two briefcases shut.

There was a trunk of cocaine but I honestly wasn't interested in it…though Amunet would. 'Im going to sell it to her and she can do with it whatever she wants, I don't care. It just means more money for me.'

I thought, before I switched over to weather control and sucked the air out of every gangster. I watched them suffocate to death first before flying away with my loot.

(Joe West P.O.V)

Detective Joe West had seen a lot of weird things in life but this was a first. 27 men and women dead without any signs of struggle. They had ruled out poisoning because there was no substance or chemical found after aotopsy. Personally he didn't know whether to be glad that the 27 dead were all criminals or terrified that there was someone out there capable of killing all of them without leaving a trace.

Central City was changing and Joe's detective gut told him, he would have a few hectic years ahead of him. He shook his head and prepared himself to go visit his son. Thankfully he had started showing signs of waking up and it wouldn't be long till his family was reunited again.

I looked at the screen of my laptop and smiled.

I had gotten back an hour ago and showered then fixed myself something to eat before finally getting to the flash drive Amunet had given me. Inside was a folder named, 'Church of blood.'

I clicked on it and saw a picture of Sebastian blood.

"Jackpot."
